Galim, this just shows how traitorous you and your fellow slaves of Darlok are. You are Darlok's "friends" and help him build his castle and defend it for him and you want the rest of us to believe that you against him? Please.

I have tried to defend the castle against Elaraliths attacks. She paralysed me and cast ice fire upon me. I could not move and yet still she cast paralyse spells upon me. The flames burned the skin from my flesh and I fell. I dragged my self to the cross to rest and heal my wounds. She followed to insult me as I burned. She defeated me three times using the same tactics which I have no power to resist. To burn and be unable to move is a terrible thing. I call upon Darlok to smite the witch with his power. Be warned all, she must have incredible "magic armour".

Algoran.

((just to make clear, she did not attack me at the cross.))

((elaralith, no IC with ooc-signs please. i haven't wrote IC, only mentioned some problems ooc which happens when you really stands at the castle and cast flames on it. i don't have said that the workers are his friends, i mean the few guys wo don't work. the guys who where his friends before we have began to work. and your writing doesn't change the fact that you are not able to fought many worms and strong fighters (not the workers) without getting killed.))

Galim stands at the castle and watches elaralith who foughts with some worms. he don't believe that she will survive this it would be better for her to run away

((this is all roleplaying elaralith in this forum as if it happens really in the game, please accept the fact that worms and fighters stand at the castle. it isn't good roleplay if you don't accept this))

A private dove is sent...

Algoran,
Know that you who assault those who oppose Darlok as his "worker" will be slain as surely as Darlok himself. Think not that there will be mercy for you as you are only Darlok's dog and not Darlok. Thrice you foolishly assaulted thrice you felt the frozen touch. This is a warning to you: Don't think that we who oppose Darlok will hesitate to smite down those of his "workers" who assault us. You have been warned, you may spread the warning among your fellow slaves.

See the note on the wall above this one which was left by the Lyrenzia Foundation. We need good mages such as yourself.

Slowly but steadily the work on the ogre castle continues. Many man have assembled to dig away the sand surrounding the walls, some of them with shovels, other with their bare hands.

Some well known citizens, that once promised to defeat Darlok at all costs, have joined the building site, but obviously they look as proud and brave as the days before. With esteem they ram wooden beams into the ground to support the walls and there is no sign of resignation in their faces.

Some dwarven artisans are working on a gateway, they craft ornaments showing smiling dwarves, armed to the teeth or working at an anvil.

Suddenly the dwarves look at each other, behold their art and their completed work and assemble around a female dwarf. After some chattering the dwarven artisans drop their hammers and their chisels just at the place they are standing and in a row they march singing towards Silverbrand leaving the building site almost deserted from skilled workers.

On their way towards their holy halls underneath the surface it can be overheard that two dwarves talk to each other:

Galim: We did our part and we did it at our best, didn´t we?

Belegi: Indeed, now it´s the time for others to get dirt underneath their nails. In the days to come we will need all of our strength for our own purposes.

After the dwarves enter Silverbrand, the gates are closed and the dwaves were not seen on the building site the day after.

At this night, during the most workers were at home, a Shadow truckled unseen along the Castle. He truckled quitly to the Working Materials. After he arrived, he buryed some of the Working Equipment at different places, so at the next day new ones must supplyed before the work could continued.

Grant returns to the Castle with fresh supplies and tools he finds that many of the items are missing so he dumps the supplies and tools on the small round table and heads back to town to get some more, just as he walks away he thinks for a moment... He decides that leaving the fresh supplies and tools there would be dumb as whoever stole the originals would just steal these, so he brought some of the ogres over to the small table to stand watch until he came back. He whistled on his way back to town through the desert.

Each day, Mandil Aglandol continues his peacful protests against Darlok with a building of a new sand castle each day. Today mandil has another stick person, whom he is calling Elaralith.... he plays in the sand...

Elaralith Stick "Hi darlok! im gona try to burn your castle now! wee!"

Darlok Stick "mwahahah! no you dont! go get her womies!"

Dead Worms "GROAAR!"

Elaralith Stick "AHHHHH! Noooo!"

The scene plays out and the worms devour the "Elaralith stick"

Mandil gets up and walks away, the dry wind blows, the sand castles stay standing up, the dry sun baking them in place.

Mandil Aglandol "hmm...... i wonder what Darlok will do about Elaralith...."

Mandil continues to wait for somthing....what is he waiting for.....

Grant returns a few hours after he had left with plenty of tools for the workers, "should last them a week..." he thinks to himself as he puts them near the table. The ogres he left to guard there are marching around, and leads them back to where they prefer to dwell without conflict. He thens sits down on a rock with his sword withdrawn, he begins sharpening it and waits for the workers to come and of course, for the flame starters...

We send the citizen Fedaykin as an architect to the castle, to help build up the walls in the right way.

by Fedaykin

Fedaykin comes with some documents to the construction site. He looks for a place where he can lay down his documents. After he has found one he looks at the scrolls and then at the walls and at the documents again.

Cheemona heard of the rebuilt of the old castleruins and that the workers need food and drink to go on with their work. So she puts some fruits, bread and bottels with water into her bag and went to the place, Fedaykin has described to her.

She is a little bit afraid, because she never had left the town this way but she want to help like it is possible to her.

From far she is able to see Fedaykin looking at some papers. She goes over to him to give him the food and drink for the workers. Also she wants to know how their work goes on and if they are in time.

In the middle of the night two persons approached the castle. They seemed like they knew the passes that lead through the mountains very well and easily avoided the area where the ogres roam. After they made sure noone was watching them they seemed to examine several boulders outside of the castle, only the moon to give them light. In low voices they seemed to agree which boulder to choose, then one of the figures begins to count the steps from the boulder to the castle wall while the other sneaks inside using every niche as cover. They both knew the castle very well, in fact they helped to raise the walls with their own hands. As the second figure reached the opposite side of the wall, he also began to count his steps. He hurried he knew that the guards could come back every minute and although the two prepared an explanation, they would prefer not to be forced to use it. Quickly he left the inside again and joined the other figure who was standing outside and wrote something on a piece of parchment which was difficult because he only had the moon as a light source. They whispered to each other looking to the wall and the boulder occasionally. Then it looked like as they were finished, the first person put the parchment back into his bag and they made their leave. After a few steps, they could see another shadow in the night which was approaching the castle., it was a dwarf, obviously searching for something. Suspiciously they talked to each other but noone seemed inclined to tell the other why he was here near the castle and as the dwarf went inside the two men left the place, glad not to have encountered someone else.

((@Grant We played this IG yesterday and as we cant react IG to a person guarding it on the board we assumed you sleep/are not on your post. If you think that forced RP or something pls pm me))

Fedaykin winks to Cheemona
"Its good to see you here, the Workers will be pleased that you have brought them some food."
"There are some problems with the time schedule, last night some of the tools are dissapeared, and it costs time to provide new ones, but i think we make progress."
After that, Fedaykin winks the workers to him and gives them the water and food.

Vahkos stands guard at the construction site of the castle, making sure that trespassers don't come skulking by for no apparent reason. It is very late at night, but a dead body doesn't need sleep, food, or water; that's the beauty of the vanguard he uses over the castle. Unfortunately, he was forced to kill an old man, despite the fact that he could've been senile rather than stupid.

"I certainly hope some transgressors come to cast their magic on the castle; we can use more strength for the walls here."

Vahkos then looks in the reflection of the water near the shore of the castle. Face still pale, eyes still full of empty hate and darkness, he turns away then sits on one of the heavy towers forming around the castle, looking past the horizon, and the endless beauty of the desert.

This night the hooded figure is again at the building lot.
First he put down a rabbit at the building lot. This rabbit produced enough noise that one of the Oger, which were Guarding the tools, went away from his place to look what happend.

the cloaked person took advantage of this moment of inattention, he threw a bottle at the Tools. As the bottle smashed at the ground, the smell of alcohol were in the air. After that, a flaming arrow flew through the air and hits his target and all the tools go up in flames.

Because the Ogres have noticed his presence, he ran away as fast as he can.

Grant sees the cloak figure throwing the alchohal onto the items and for a moment he freezes, the items are alight for half a second then he conjures up a wind storm and the fire dies instantly. The items are slightly burnt but most survived and can be used again.

"You stupid ogres!" Grant yells at the guards as they slowly trudge toward him, one of them has the rabbit still squeling. Grant grabs the rabbit from the ogre when it is close enough and hits the ogre with it. "How can you be so stupid as to fall for that!? Must I be awake every minute of the day for this castle to be built without a hitch?" The ogre that had gotten the rabbit rubs his head and breaks the rabbit in half and says "No fall for tricks again." The two ogres trudge off and Grant walks into the desert. He builds a huge wind storm in the desert that will last for a few hours, long enough for him to rest easy as no one could possibly navigate through the desert in the wind storm. And since it is night no one that will help would come, only trouble makers.

Because of the blistering Heat, the Alcohol began to burn again.
The most of the tools were destroyed in the flames.

the Next day, Fedaykin comes to the construction site an noticed that somethink was wrong.
"What happend with the tools?"
"Who whas that?"
"How should we make progress without tools!"

After Fedaykin has givenb the food and the drink to the workers and had told her about the problems she returned to the town to think about how she could maybe halp a bit more. She decided to ask Fedaykin at ther next meeting in witch way she could help more, maybe they need some more tools ore materials for the castle. So she went on to her home and tiered from the long way she went to bed.

The next morning she puts some food and drink into her bag again, this day she puts some cake in it too. She thinks the workers will be glad to get some good cake and that it will make them more like to work. After she has eaten something she goes on to get to the castle again. The weather is hot and the sun is burning pitilessly. Ararriving at the ruins she hears a lot of noises. Coming nearer she sees Fedaykins despairs face.

What was going an her?, she ask.

A smell of fire and smoke lies in the air... she puts her bag down and went over to Fedaykin to have a look what has happend.

"Someone has burned down most of the tools. That will cost much time to provide new ones.

Fortunately nobody were injured by the fire.

Maybe we should lock up the tools and give every worker his tools every morning. That would cost much time too, but not so much like buying new tools every day."

Posted: Sun Aug 03, 2003 1:45 pm
by Cheemona
Cheemona looks at the ash and shakes her head.

Who is able to make such a stupid thing? Don't they want that the ruins will be rebuilt? It's a fine idea to lock the tools, but where would you lock them? Maybe i could help to get new ones. I knew some really good smithes maybe they are willed to help us with new tools. They would be glad if the heat is gone as well, I think.

Staring at the rests of the burned tools she thinks about who would be so kind to make tools for free or for less pay.

Posted: Sun Aug 03, 2003 2:07 pm
by Fedaykin
Fedaykin nods.

"I Think some of the workers could build up a small building where we could lock up the tools. Such a small building would stand in one day and we need only a few workers. But it would be better as buying new tools.
Its good that you want to help with the tools. But I think it would be better if the new tools will arrive after the house for the tools is constructed."

Fedaykin winks a few workers to him and gives them the instructions to build up a small house for the tools.

Cheemona noods nad observes Fedaykin instructing the workers.

Just tell me when the building is finished and i will look what i could do to get some new tools.

She picks her bag up and gives it to Fedaykin.

Here you are. There are some bottels of Water in it again. I put some cake in it as well. The workers will like ist and it will help to make a better mood. I have to go back to towne now, my work is waiting.

She waves and makes her on the way back to town.

After Chemona has gone, Fedaykin walks along the construction site, as he arrived at the Building Materials his face turns to a sorrowful facial expression.

"Hmmm, the wood, we havent enough wood"

He talks to the man who delivered the Building materials and he said that tere isn't enough wood in town.

So Fedaykin walks away to find Darlok. He have to clear important things with him. He hopes that Darlok is at the construction site.

Grant gets tired of the little bastard that ruined the tools. "Rather kill him then let him drag this on..." He thinks. He leaves Vahkos back at the castle and begins to hunt the saboteur down. "Even if I don't find him, he won't be able to burn anything again..." He thinks. He heads out with his wand, armor and weapons, hunting down the terrorist.
