Do you honestly think he is going to sign some treaty with the hobbiteers? What DOES he gain from doing so? I certainly do not see any special gain that would give Darlok the incentive to sign some treaty of peace, especially when he's declared war only days ago on, not the Hobbitteers, but individuals.
Crosis,
big words of a Peace Threary, but what are the Terms of it?
As Cain said, if i simply sign a Threaty with the single word "Peace" in it, there is nothing to gain for me and my warriors of justice.
Hide in the Woods and work that Threaty out, but dont show your faces in the Town.
As some small hints what shall be in your Offer of Peace:
- Formal Apology to all of my Fighters who get harm
- A fixed Number of Silver as Reparations
- A not specified number of Gold as Tribute and sign of Surrender to us
Take this a Chance to get out of all this whitout to leave Trolls Bane or the Island (or Life) forever.
If you refuse the dieings amog the named Halfings continue.
Darlok

Now...
Isn't this a sorry state of affairs. Darlok, you launch a war on four individuals, beouling both their names and their guild in the process.
And Hobbits, you too befoul your own guild name by accepting war.
bumbol, I am glad to see you taking initiative by offering a treaty, but I fear that a man as stubborn as Darlok will not listen.
In the eventuality of a war beginning, I am supposed to stay neutral, due to my Ranger status, but I fear that such a thing may not be possible, what with some of my close friends being threatened by a being several times their size...

I listen to the words of the Halfling , that gladly offerd me his Help. In Order to kill a Member of his own Guild.
Yes, these Halfings are Criminals, they looked for an excuse to kill and wage War.
Now they got the War they longed for, but they are to frightend.
The one who seeds wind, will gain Strom.
The Frame of Peace is set. But the condition is still War.
Darlok

But Hermie, unlike the hobbits, who kill in a false name of justice for their own fun, killing is my job. I make money off it. Some people farm, some people fish, but I kill. It's an honorable job for a lizardman. I'm not hungry for corpses, I'm hungry for the rush and excitement of assassination.Hermie wrote:Xerake said:
Xerake, you are the assassin, you murdered Kirtar, therefore you are the one who chose to be 'murderous' and 'corpse hungry'. When we asked you to name your 'client' you refused, you even murdered Crosis, that is why I killed you. I see this as an eye for an eye as you were the first to spill blood, though you only died once for the taking of two lives.exacting revenge on murderous, corpse hungry hobbits that actually do try to take the law into their own hands
For the most part, the three of you put this on yourselves...you killed yourselves. You should know better than to surround a very nervous lizard weilding an axe, way outside of town, then force him to break his orders and tell who his employeer was or face death. I had to react. If I was going to die, naturally, I was going to take somebody with me. I went for the mage, Crosis, because a mage can paralyze me then feel free to smack me with whatever. Even though I was aware you had bows, I knew that my death wouldn't be in vain. After all, I didn't tell the name, and I took a body. All in all, a good day.
What do you have to gain from this 'war' Darlok? Only blood on your hands, and 'revenge' a thing that doesn't truly exist. You lose a part of your reputation, but gain nothing except the pleasure you some how gain from attacking haflings.
The haflings obviously don't want this war to continue, so you aren't preventing them from doing something either.

No, a false name of justice. After I was killed, Kirtar shot at me AGAIN. Was there a reason? No, my sentence was already served! Then Crosis threw spells at the man who was merely coming to my defense. Justice is just a poor excuse.Hermie wrote:Xerake said:Incorrect. As far as I'm concerned, this war won't really be a major challenge...from what I witnessed, the hobbits opposing us are weak in strength, and they can't target all three of us with their spells and throwables when we come after them...
And Crosis and Kirtar going after you again has something to do with me? I wasn't there so I can't say what heppened. I feel you are dragging me into this because you are bitter that you died after killing Kirtar and Crosis the first time. No, a false name of justice. After I was killed, Kirtar shot at me AGAIN. Zerbus reads through what people have written and discussed about. He grins as he writes a few words, thinking to himself how useless all this talk is.
After he finishes his work, he takes his war axe again in hand, adjusts his pointy dagger to the belt and walks out of the shop with a mean grin on his face.
Pitty excuses.
Empty discussions.
Done bun cannot be undone.
Face now our reaction to your unjust actions.

Xerake, after much thought, rubs his chin and declares...
Perhaps you're correct, Hermie. Or perhaps, you're halfway incorrect as well. Although you don't have much to do with this, you willingly, along with Crosis and Kirtar, surrounded me outside of town and asked who my employeer was. That doesn't exempt you completely, but it does, to some extent.
My employeer had nothing to do with you. If you want to stay free of guilt, don't meddle in business that isn't of your own.
Therefore, if you weren't there to witness the time where I was attacked, then my first statement about corpse hungry hobbits was correct, no?
UPDATE:
Kirtar has been slain, and I request that he is removed from the list. However, feel free to stick him on again if he continues to bother us...

Xerake, I only killed you for killing my friends. If you wish I could come to some agreement with you. But none of the others like Darlok. Darlok and his crew have no reason to fight me. He died after attacking me. He died as the product of self defence. If you take people off the list for dying then take off Bumbol and Lenti. After they died and Moyáve cast her cowardly paralyse spells on me so I fough cowardice with cowardice and fled!

I wassss in town talking to sssome hobbitsss, and a group of people came up and dissturbed my converssation. Then they attacked the hobbit I wasss talking to.
I have no part in thisss war, but I am now againssst Darlok for disssturbing my conversssation, and the other two who attacked me when I attacked him.
I know one was Moyave, but am not sssure who the other human wasss. Perhapssss it was Zerbussss, I am not sssure.
For me thisss isss not war, thisss isss perssonal, ssso unless you wisssh to drag me into thisss war you will not interfere with my revenge.

Today was a good Day for the Cause of the Justice.
The Forces if the Haflings had to take a Chrushing Defeat in the Middle of the Town amog many Withnesses.
The Forces of Justice, lead by myself, forced all Agressors to retreat,
Bumbol changed again the Sides and is now fighting for the ones he betrayes before. I dont know why they let him.
Lenti choosed the Side of the Wrongers and Loosers and fall in the Struggle.
Kirtar, will not be removed form the List, because he is still agressive and deserves all Punishment through our Just Cause.
Even if Bumbol used again betraying ways, pretending ROKE wants to speak to me, he lead me into an trap and forced me to retreat to the neares Cross.
My Forces will never use such ways, we prefer open Engagements with open Combatants. We also WARN all not involved Parties befor a fight startes.
Unlike the Halfings, the hide in Crowds of INNOCENTS and use them as Shield.
They pretend Talkings about Peace to attack unarmed Fighters!
Bumbol seems to want this war, at all costs.
I hope the People of Trolls Bane support this Camapin for Just and Thruth!
We are the just Ones!
Darlok, leader of victorous Forces
P.S.: List of Enemy Fighters has been changed due the entering of Lenti and Bumbol.
Please take a look at this list Citizens and stay away from these Criminals, so you wont get hurt.

hmm.... I did say roke wanted to talk to you because I wanted you out in the open for Lenti to kill, plus you had all your men around you. It was a good idea, just didn;t work. You were pretty dense when we kill you in the Tavern. I mean, I walked up, lenti was at the window and I just stood behind you til Lenti begn casting. We hide behind innocents? Those innocents told you to leave they stayed on their free accord. If you want an open battle, battle us tomorrow at 2 p.m. ((don't know yoru time))
