My dear Dunthor, you should not so callously dismiss the power of Elara. Only the foolish and the simple know not the power of Wisdom and Knowledge. For such are the powers of Elara; in Wisdom and Knowledge they are. Knowledge is more valuable than any weapon. Weapons and armor will rust away, but true Knowledge stays in one's mind forever. Wisdom can overcome anything while a weapon can only do so much. Wisdom is also eternal and stays with one forever. Open your eyes and let them see the Light and not just your bloody axe and petty quarrels.

Reads over all of the messages from everyone and almost starts laughing. But instead grabs a quill and peice of parchment and writes a message.
Dear friends many many times have I heard this argument. But it is always the same. No matter how much you talk it comes down to one of two things. They are friendly orcs or they are not and must be 'dealt' with.
Im all for peace! But when you and your ways are threatened, You must be strong and deal with it in the way it needs to be dealt with. Im hoping that these orcs are just nomads. When they arrive i belive we should simply ASK them what there purposes are. If they be good then welcome them. If not then we must protect what is ours. Simple as that.
Grins at his message and hopes his words help and puts it up on the wall. Then takes his small bottle of wine and takes a small drink and goes back to work.

Sir Gannon, may I suggest that you be the person who "meets and greets" these orcs when they come? You will then see first hand that they are NOT friendly, but pose a great threat to our safety!
To anyone who owns a bow I am willing to supply arrows and bolts at no cost when this terror arrives.
Myers

Looks at Myers message and laughs. Then takes out another quill and peice of parchment.
Dear Myers I would gladly meet them when they come. I have been in many situations like this. If they be not friendly then let them try to get past me. The least I can do if hold them off while you all shoot them full of arrows or blow them apart with magic. But im still hoping there just wanders.
Nods at his work and puts it up on the wall. Then takes out his small bottle of wine, taking a sip. Then walks off chuckling.

Please remember when you are letting loose arrows at anything remotely Orc shaped, some of our citizens are Orcs. Choose your targets wisley and do not let fear pick your mark.

A worn and scruffy halfling passes the board and after reading it he counts his arrows and hides in a hedge away from town, waiting

Dunthor calls for a bird after the bird picks at his helmet trying to get the food from under it he gives it a letter to give to Myers.
Dear Myers,
I will need 2000 bolts by the time the orcs come they sent scouts out a few days ago they were not that hard but I can expect harder so will you have the bolts done in time?
Dunthor lets the bird go as it flys swiftly through the nights sky

Belegi come to the shop board, reads all the papers and looks astonished. Afterwards she writes a little message by herself.
Citizens of Troll´s Bane,
did I get that right: a huge army of orcs marches towards Troll´s Bane and all of you do nothing but arguing?! As Ezorock wrote, we must prepare ! It would be nice if Boremier himself could write some sentences about this topic, as I understood he actually saw that army. If this rumour turns out to be true, we should gather the strongest knights and warriors of our town and defeat this threat!
Yours
Belegi

Myers spots an eagle as it lands on the wall beside her. She notices a piece of parchment tied securely to one of its legs. It does not try to move away as she takes the message from it. She reads the note, it is from her friend Dunthor....... She takes a quill from her bag and writes a reply.
Dear Dunthor,
I have the bolts you requested. They and I will be waiting for you on your safe return to Trollsbane. May your returning journey be a safe one.
Myers.
Myers ties the note back to the eagles leg, and whispers in its ear..........
" Find your master safe and well little one". With that the bird takes flight.
May the Gods be with you all

From what I have heard about orcs, there be no such thing as reasoning.
I for one will fight for my home. With my limited skills, I will probably die, but I will fight.
I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty or give me death.

Crocket, I am sure I speak for everyone in Troll's Bane when I say we all feel as passionately as you about protecting out town, even if some people do not take it seriously ... Our town will be no easy bounty for these vermin.

Gerard picks up the piece of bread and walks over to Hermie and everyone else talking about the subject
@ Hermie- I do agree Hermie, the town of Troll'sBane will not fall easily. But, we have never faced an entire orc army.
@ Everyone- I dont think we should just expect that we will easily destroy them, I think we should expect the worst and prepare for these blood sucking monsters. I mean, What if they have a cave troll? or two? or three? What if they have demons on their side? We must prepare for whatever may or may not happen. Let March 14 be the time where we show the rest of our world, the Troll'sBane is unstopable. Lets do this together
Gerard finishes his speach and walks away as he takes a bite out of the bread

To all citizens of Trollsbane. Please keep in mind, as you run around maligning Orcs, that many Orcs live in the town. I personally have witnessed Orcs give their lives protecting the town against some terrible creatures in the not too distant past. If a fight with this particular band of Orcs is inevitable then so be it, but do not judge the whole by the few.

Gerard hears Ellaron as he walks away and stops in his tracks to reply
I agree Ellaron, Many orcs have given there lives to protect the town of Troll's Bane. Just because an orc is an orc does not make them a gross being. But this orc army is on their way for one perpose and one perpose only, To destroy our beloved town. I am not against orcs as a whole but this orc army I AM against. But yes, a good statement indeed, Ellaron.

I only got round to fighting one orc that we assumed survived the assault, he unfortunately killed my friend.
It was quite a good fighter, it was tougher than an ogre and more agressive too, it also took quite a beating before it finally died.
