Yeah... I do not think that Randelf would do something like that. You are either confused or just plain lying!

How often do I have to repeat it? If he was banned, then because a look into the server logs proved the accusations.
No proof- no ban, plain and simple. So lying to the GMs would not achieve anything but to be banned yourself...

Funny, a straight cut and paste shouldn't look like that... I wish I had been there.

I understand if you kill him once by accident, okay then. But how many times did he kill you, Crocket? I thought better of you Randelf, and then to try and cover it up?

i hope Randelf didn't do anything... And if he didn't and he gets banned because of a lie that you made crocket...... theres going to be a bounty on you...

As Adano has stated before twice .... the Stuff will only ban someone, if they find themselves in the logs, that it is right, that a person has broken the rules.
And next time, viewing a violation, mail to the stuff (have a look at the Emailaddys on the HP here for the right one).
This is better than accusing here a neverending discussion, where noone is able to proove if someone says the truth or is lying.

This is a OCC Forum, no one can go a bounty on somebody.
And nobody becomes banned because of a lie, but this said Adano already. There are servers log files, which serve as proof for rule breaks.
In addition it was already said that the Char Randelf wasn´t banned because of a rule break. The cause was a bug, which server crashes released and is already repaired.
Galdriel wrote: to my informations he is not banned.
but some charakters had to be banned latly, since they were bugged and made the server crash
I hope with this words the quarrels around lie and truth can end.

haven't put a bounty on him yet... He might still be innocent

first of all I DO NOT lie.
I can be proven wrong or may have made a mistake, if so I will admit it, but this is no mistake.
the log file proves it.
I copied the log file straight from my log to the board.
If I was trying to get him banned I would have went to a GM, I just think everyone should be warned of his actions and be careful when dealing with him.

Greetins all,
I would like to find out precisely what has happened here. The Good Name of Silverbrand depends on it. We cannot have a killer in our midst, just as we cannot bannish someone from hearsay and presumptions.
Therefore I beseech that a ((GM)) should please contact me in order to clear all this buisness.
1. Is Randelf Banned ?
2. Is it because of Res Killing?
3. Do the logs show clear answers.
Furthermore I would like to apollogise on behalf of the Dwarven Town for any unexeptable behaviours concerning our Dwarf Randelf.
IF it is prooven, that he is of foult, he will be dealt with according to Dwarfish manner.
@ Mishrack
Please contact me urgently, send a dove if you have to

I guess different programs and computers copy and paste in different ways I opened the log file with notepad. Highlited the text and hit ctrl + c then came to the board and hit ctrl + v in the board.

Paul Laffing (s): grapes are ready!
Malinne: Yep
Malinne: ?
Paul Laffing (s): Eating all these grapes is fun!
Paul Laffing: Hehehe
Malinne: It is?
Paul Laffing: Where is Salathe?
Malinne: Can they be used to make wine?

Paul, your text could have been easily altered or even fabricated to look like that.
But then, so could mine...
It's one group of people's word against another...

The reason why they came out different was because there was probably less text in both Paul's and Crocket's log files. The bigger it gets, the more crammed the text gets into notepad and thus the word wrap doesn't help much to neatly organize the words and it isn't as neat looking. Even bigger log files have to be opened in wordpad with the words all jumbled. The only thing that crocket must have done was double space the lines of text when he cut and paste. He didn't seem to alter any information as not much could be interpreted from the text he displayed. I'm done.

Actually, it probably came about by how the end of line is registered.
Some expect Carriage Return/Line Feed pairs (CR/LF) some just expect CR. If some text file only has CR and you paste it to something that expects CR/LF then you won't see each line.
Wordpad and notepad act differently. I don't remember which one handles CR correctly and which one doesn't. This would explain why they look different.

Wordpad crams it all into one big paragraph, and notepad uses spaces i think, not sure though.

I'snt it amazing how a group of people can get completely off topic.
Personally, I'm glad the topic has changed.
