I experience the same grafical problem like Dyluck mentioned from time to time. It is very irritating when Character grafics turn into that "white box" and you see them runing arount.
Also when you cklick "Show Skills" there seem to be a small chance that your inventory is not going to be hidden, but the skillnames and thier colours are displayed. So you see both, Skills and Invetory.

In the old client I was able to see inside all windows, regardless of location, to see whom was inside.
Now, it only works on some windows, and never on the workshop ones.

Its strange, even with my old peice of crap computer. Im still running everything perfectly fine. It does take a couple of seconds more to come back after i Alt-Tab but it doesnt bother me that much. I wonder whats wrong with all of you.

Amen Sir Gannon, i do admit however, the graphics could use a tune up, and the new client, in my opinion, caused more glitches than it fixed.
However, i dont want to complain. The designers and programmers that work for Illarion are purely doing it for the love of the game, i doubt they get any pay. If this is true, they are takeing time out of their day to make our Illarion playing experience better. There is nothing wrong with telling them what you think if it, like you guys have been doing.
When you click to identify a item (well right+left click), is your bag susposed to open, to help with the convience of bag opening, or is this some kind of glitch?

I personally would like it if the Illarion team set up a donation place. I would gladly donate what I could.

I have also found that if you are wearing a viking helmet and you try to drag another viking helmet onto that spot, then the one you were dragging disappears.

To identify items you only need to left click, not right and left. That should eliminate your opening problem

I just logged on and found another startling bug!
It seems that when I right click the apple, the cross moves a couple tiles down the screen. When I do the same to the shovel, I move towards the river. Upon further examination, I realized that it was my character was moving, only the character graphic wasn't! The other characters moved as if I had walked one to the left and one tile up, only the ground tiles and the walls didn't...
Edit: See below

@Astral: Strange problem, but I don't have it nor have I heard anyone else with that problem.
Identification of an item has always been LEFT click as far as I know...
Oh and I seem to be getting a lot of the "multiple image of a character" problem once in a while, and now I see up to 6 or 7 images of a person as opposed to the old 1 or 2.

Here's one I haven't seen mentioned yet.
When I'm fighting Ogres. if I kill one and another one walks up on the mace and coins and I try to drag the mace or coins out from underneath it, the Ogre disappears. I don't mean that the white icons appears, it completely disappears. It is still there because I can hear it attacking me. If I was already attacking him then the red box disappears too. If I move one step and the ogre follows me, he will reappear. I haven't tried this with any other monsters, or any items other than the mace and coins.

The same thing happens with mummies, and I expect with all monsters.

As the word "alternative" says, they are nothing that is provided by the Illarion team, and nothing to be supported by us. Therefore there is no reason to put a link on our download page.

Is the roof of the building beeing removed, when you step at the windows?
Elaralith wrote:@Bror Please read the many proposals on the proposal board soon!
It took me 1 month to reduce my email flooding from 3 month of internet absence to 150, read the main, technical and the developers boards and make the new client.
I still have to:
- read proposal board (about 9 month behind with reading)
- read and answer 150 emails
- answer ICQs
- answer PMs
- Read the whole Gamemaster Boards
- make bugfixes and updates to the client
- catch up with the actual development of the server, so I know what they are talking about and what things are needed for the client.
- work (not on the project - work to earn money)
- have some private time except Illarion work
If I have succeeded in this, in - lets say 3 month - I will have to read the emails, ICQs, Board postings.. that have been writen during these 3 month....
Don't see much light at the end of the tunnel
To say it with Imapled Nazarene: "There is no light at the end of the tunnel. You just walk for miles and miles, and then there is ..... nothing!"
PS: In this situation it helps very much, when many postings start to change the begining topic to talk about "My Avatar is bigger than yours!".

Only the two windows next to the door on the workshop work. The other two windows on the front wall never actually worked before as far as I know.

Here is a problem which many may have noticed.
With the female Halfling graphic, when she turns to the left and walks in that direction, a thin grey bar can be seen to the right of her...
About the windows, no the roof isn't removed on the windows anymore.
It's not bothering me much as all I have to do, is walk in the door.

The new loom and spinning wheel graphics don't show people behind the objects correctly. It looks as if you were walking over them.

The bar near the female halflings may be fixed soon.

@Serpardum/Shi'voc: There has to be a special (invisible) tile on the roof level of the map right above the window to make the roof vanish when you step by. Just in case you changed something in the code/map.

About the window thing: The original workshop only had two windows. Then after it was trashed by the Horde, it was rebuilt, and two new windows were added, but you couldn't see through them. We couldn't edit roof tiles at the time as far as I know, and so that's probably why those two windows never actually worked before, according to what Bror says.
I don't have a problem looking through all other windows and nor have I heard anyone else say they have that problem. Are you sure it's not just the two extra "fake" windows at the workshop, Brendan Mason?
