As a newbie, I think it's already good enough that it actually takes TIME to raise skills now, but 20x harder...owie...that would really be tough for a newbie.

And I know that people here are already going to accuse me of being a powergamer (though they don't know me anyway) but honestly...if I were to only roleplay, I would be in the Red Dragon Inn on AOL in a chat room rather than playing Illarion. SOME skill raising wouldn't be bad...

I can't even TURN darn it! It's like I have a genetic bone injury or something.
