later there may be an other resistances system, i.e. different resistances and rising hem with spells, potions, drugs, no idea what's planned but something will change some day.

@Guardian Angel: There are many things, you can learn about (magic resistance by getting hit by fireball for instance). I am only saying that you would normaly avoid getting burned, even if you would learn something from it.

Right, he goes over the top time by time - but i must admit he improves in roleplay. That is, if those around roleplay too.
The reason thing was the following : i former times he killed without reason, and tried to play evil that way - lets call it the "tibian" way, or simply killing spree. The reasons should be roleplay ones. He provocates a little too much sometimes. Guess that can be improved with time too.
The last times i saw him, he did not act agressive - just made the biggest field i ever saw in illarion *g* and behaving normal. If he continues like this, we won't have any problems. And if someone needs someone seen dead... or some guild wars... well, give Thoer some silver *g*

To get stronger one would do things that hurt but not kills one. That very much includes taking a fireball or two. No pain no dain!

Because there are always people who think that, we will need another rising method for resistance.
Imagine a spelcaster who rises it that way, and heals himself - Every wound leaves some scars, small ones if healed by magic or potions - but a spellcaster training resistance on himself with spells would look like a scarface after some time...
MOO, i say.
People would try to rise the resistance with rituals, quests or magic, or drugs and potions, but not with things that cause wounds on themselves.
We have to make it that way in the game too some day.

A though mean warlockkinda guy would most definitly don't care bout some scars. A more refined wizard I agree would very much care about the scars and thus not train like that.

He would indeed. Since a strong spell has almost as much power as a smashing sword, or at least does the same damage with low resistance, that would surely leave a scar. And when heale by magic, the body part will be fully functional again, but with scars and scars you look.. well... imagine a spellcaster looking like having boiled his face and body in hot oil... Yuck.
