I think that the change will just encourage mage-characters to powergame more. And not everyone is matt. Yes I understand bugs needed to be fixed and problems were solved, but I think that it should be made a bit easier. People used to complain that being a mage needed you needed to use magic at every occasion to get some training squashed in...

Hey Nitram, I know that you're still working on it, just thought I should let you know that an elf pure mage (20 int, etc) with 90+ skills, can't even cast the portal spell, not to mention eny area spell.
Hope you'll balance it soon man.
