Rofl, Julius can beat every single one of it's member and he's not even close to one of the best warriors. If KOG is l33t, then what is Julius?

I meant how its being typed. People use KoG IG alot. Should that be allowed, or no?

People also use: TB (Trollsbane), Bane, SB (Silverbrand), 'Briar (Greenbriar)
I think we should not use initials, but honestly "Knights of Gobaith" is a long title for some to type.
All players want the 'quickest' way to get through to boring parts. elimating the negative. We just have to reward or re-inforce the positive.

I started off the acronym KoG and I used it ingame first. It's legit, it's just a quick way of saying it; humans have always abbreviated.

It's not something to be proud of. It looks ugly, there's no appeal in it. Abbreviations are for short writing. They don't look good in the context of illarion. You have to be lazy to write those abbreviations. Knights of Gobaith, Troll's Bane, Silverbrand etc... are not too long.

Ironical how the guy that can type what, 400 characters a minute (?), has coined an acronym. Shame on you.

Technically it should be typed cog.

It's not a WRITING abbreviation; it's a SPEAKING abbreviation. Humans ALWAYS do that and always have, that's why we have nicknames. e.g. Britons -> Brits, Birmingham citizens -> Brummies, Liverpudlians -> Scousers, and people constantly use acronyms etc. rl, like I'd say "ts2" instead of timesplitters 2 etc. etc.
Abbreviations, fine, you shouldn't type them, like "u" instead of "you", but acronyms are fine, because you aren't writing them phonetically the shorthand way, you're writing it the correct way to write how you would pronounce it rl.
@Fally: Over 500, but that's not the point

. I don't abbreviate ig because I can't be arsed typing the full word, it's because in speech I would also abbreviate those things.
@Cliu: It's pronouned "Kee oh jee".

Isn't it quicker just to say Cog?

Abbreviations are for hardcore nerds. They have like a loop that only they can understand the way of the nerd.
End.

How lazy? Please take your time to choose the most fitting type of laziness.
1.) Oh, I can be bothered to pick that sock up from the floor right now.
2.) The assignment is due next week and I should.. nah, I'll start tomorrow.
3.) It is forever since the nomination dates for the Trollsbane elections were announced. The nominations themselves ended originally a week ago, and now the due date which I later extended has passed as well. I still haven't managed to proceed with the elections at all, simply because I am an utterly useless and apathetic bum. I actually pray every night that there is no Christian god, because should the seven deadly sins apply, I will be sure to burn in hell for the sheer amount of apathy and sloth.
