Well Dariya, if you would have any sence of the illarion history you would know that woman are more or less slaves in albarian, so that would create a hate for slaves hmm..as I said..first inform yourself, before someone could think that you might be stupid.

I am sure she knows that history very well. But why hate slaves? Why abolish slavery? The Albarians on Gobaith will be more than delighted to be able to have slaves again. *winks*

Well Pellandria, I
do have a sense of the illarion history, altough I do not play this game as long as you do, mea culpa.
But I was not speaking for women or from women's view, I was speaking of 'Albarians' in general, who
did have slaves and who for sure
loved them, otherwise they would not have them. But I think that also Albarian females, let's say the wives of those 'Albarian slave owners' did not refuse the 'services' of their husbands' slaves ....

Well, then you should read everything and not half of it, as I was, and there shouldn't be a doubt, speaking about women, who lived under those circumstances and lived a life were only the word of a man was important and the own opinion was crushed, otherwise nothing would have made sence, which now clearly shows why you didn't even understood the point to beginn with, yes there might be some albarian lords and ladys who might want slaves, but we almost have no ~ blue blood~ on gobiath and even if someone would try, he needed some other char to support him as wealth is arned and not given, so the majority of the chars are either against slaves or simply don't care.

Could you please, once and for all, cease this agressive tone? Thanks.

Can you please stop this pointless discussion about the fact that you are against slavery? I just wanted to make a point, and this thread is actually about neckties. xD

Pellandria, I read your post again, more than once actually but the way I get it does not change by reading it over again. I humbly ask you to apologise my lack of understanding.
The point however is that you think you are allowed to post your opinion, but any other player who plays less than 80 years is not, they will get to know your very nice tone and 'I know you don't' attitude immediately.
Still I believe that even Albarian women are not all against slavery, because they benefit from them ... and, excuse me, you did not speak of 'upper class' or 'slaves' themselves, you were mentioning 'women' and I was referring to those who could afford to have slaves (even if 'only' through their husbands, family, etc.).
Anyway, I will cut this right here and I humbly pledge that I won't ever hurt your wise eyes with posts from me addressed to you directly again.

It is probably best if you keep a mild debate such as this in PMs or make another thread if you want to other's opinions.

Pellandria's in the thread. Sorry.
Either way, on topic, I do agree that neck ties, ribbons and other decorative accessories would be cool. All we have right now are amulets and rings which does get pretty boring. Maybe earrings? Nose rings? Tattoos maybe?

hm, I remember some bard called Gryphius rping having a lip ring ...
do we really need those items if we can rp wearing rings whereever you feel like wearing them?

there are so many chars describing their appearance wonderfully, altough not in a way the technical/graphical issues of the game could support ... this is fine with me

and IF something like neck-ties, earrings and the like would be implemented, pretty soon we would need more 'body-slots', as the players/chars most probably won't get along with the amount of slots they have, because they can only wear a neck-tie
or an amulet, but would like to wear both ... or whatever, if you get my point

collars or other types or necklaces would indeed be nice to see as stated above amulets and plain old rings get old... it's give jewlers a bit more to work on too..
