But make raw fish uneatable like raw meat (exceptions maybe for lizards (fish) and orks(pork))

Establish smoked fish (use raw fish with oven) and/or grilled fish (use fish with pan near a fire).

smoked fish would be a nice idea. raw fish seems just wrong to have a whole island eating tonnes of every day

You can make a fish dish. The one thing I don't like about the current fish system (forgive me if I am wrong) is that you simply cannot cook the fish by it's self. You can't have cooked fish not on a plate.

you hve to have a significant cookign skillto make a salmon plate and at least 15-20 points higher to make a fish fillet

If a dev or gm dislikes that idea because we have no graphics.. I don't think anyone here would disagree if we used the current graphics for a while to show "cooked fish" and "raw fish".

smoked fish has been sugested many many many many many many many many... (three hours later)... many many! times before and look... we still don't have it. do the math.





(if ya can't do the math i think it's either been turned down over a dozen times ((so many i honestly lost count))

edit: i'm all for it though (actually sugested smoked fish myself at one point )

It wouldn't take more than an hour to code the change.

^I support the above idea, and add fish filets as an unfinished product used in that, then buy grease, which looks just like a yellow potion (to save graphics), then cook at wherever it will be cooked at, and voila! 2 filets+ 1 grease = 2 fried fish filets.

To get the fish filets, you use the fish at the fire with the cooking spoon and (if absolutely needed) a bucket of water. one salmon = 2 filets, one trout = 1 filet.

so, fish that is more nourishing now would give more meat to use in cooking.

Does this make sense?

I think the main problem is that they don't seem to want this. A good 15 minutes will suffice to make a smoked fish graphic.

So make a smoked fish graphic, to give them a little nudge

Why can't you update the client? Isn't that one of the reasons why we switched to a java client?

After some advice to brown and burn it a lil bit I came up with this.

Since the client is getting an update anyway, could you upload Grobby's graphic?

It looks good and I could get to work on the system myself if its there.

Don't limit the fish have fishermen buy yearly licenses.
