When i see these characters ingame i don't really focus on how they are here.. i just roleplay with them.

I mean that's what we should be doing, enjoying the characters personality ingame, not researching their entire history.

Cahir is another son of Stephen, not Julius

For the history and origin of the Rothman family shall remain a mystery - and not a misery.

Grant was never adopted. He was pure bred Rothman. Even Stephen and Sam will tell you that. He was adopted in way, because his father had never really seen him, but Stephen did Grant's mom. Make two babies, was banished from the kingdom. Then when Grant was old enough he went off to find his father. Simple as that. He was pure, he a rothman, the same blood runs through his veins. So dismiss that ideal, Dantygon.

And who the hell are you? Wtf is Thomas Rothman?

All in favour of now recapping the long and complicated line of Fooser?

Maybe a result of one of Stephen's adventures in gobaith/salkmar?

Grant was adopted, even Sam/Stephen and half of Illarion can tell you that. Last I heard he has been saying that he wishes he never had Stephen adopt Grant. Things rather snowballed.

Solution: Bring Sam Back.

No he wasn't. Stephen fucked his mother. Stephen said that because he became a bandit, you n00b. Grant even lived with Trent Rothman on the Rothman farm when he was younger.

well nonetheless. whether people go by it or not, that is illarion time, and that is how age progresses.

Again, no one really goes by Illarion time.

Maybe someone really should talk to Sam about this. I am sure he would straighten it out since you're all so hellbent on cracking this case.

i told you, sam stated it himself

http://illarion.org/community/forums/vi ... age#203304

it does NOT matter whether or not people go by illarion time, that is illarion time, people SHOULD go by it.

So with the official illarion time, stephen is currently 34-35 depending on birthday.

continue/revise discussion with that info

Now;
While I am sorry that Jen is upset for this, the amount of attention this has gotten is rather disproportionate to anything 'bad' which might come out of it. Now, did Grant and Stephen exist/play at the same time in the game? If they did (and PO stephen did not take any action) it should signal that the story was indeed approved by him.

Anyway, what's the point of this? Should the staff perhaps ban yet another person? It'd be 'nice' to see another crackdown of 'undesirable player(s)'..

*sighs*

I'm not getting banned over this. I'm playing who I was told I could play.

Whether you think they should or not really doesn't matter, the fact is that most players do NOT want their favourite characters to age and die before they are ready to themselves quit this game. If you want to push for them to use it then more power to you but just know that reality can suck the fun out of everything. Sometimes it's just good to escape the reality that we live in now.

This is starting to get out of hand. This is a ridicules complaint to make, especially from someone who has not been playing in months. If it really bothers you that much Jen perhaps you should stop playing altogether, this is just a game.

Instead of creating a topic like this you should try playing with Rainia and the others, you may even enjoy the characters and the game, instead of trying to spoil it for others because you are really upset about a minor continuity error.

stephen in his post claims he wanted to play his character into old age, he would have aged his char to this age.

And i dont think many people at all play a character long enough that there character would be forced to die from old age. There are VERY few characters in game that were around 5 or 6 years ago.

Seriously though? How could that come under question? They look exactly the same, he lived on the family farm, and his mother claimed he did her. That's to many consequences for it not to be true.

I didn't really read this much...but we all know Grant was adopted by Stephen. Who's PO agrees was a large mistake. Grant(Raheem)'s room mate made a character unrelated to Stephen but the room mate didn't understand/wasn't told Stephen adopted his character's brother. So really, Julius's background information is all a lie.

I assume the thread is still unlocked for...err...comic relief?
