I told you clicking properties brings that weird Admin thing up... which I think somebody here is misconstruing as something to do with Admins of Illarion which it does not.

You can only change it in properties <_> .
Go ask your parents to enable you to do it.
Otherwise: 5MB?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!? O________________________O

Windos@2000 Proffesional
Is that your OS or WinME? You posted both. But even under "Windoofs 2000" you should be able to change your screen resolution (correct me if I'm wrong) without admin rights.
Do this: Go to a blank part of your desktop (no icon, no program, just the desktop with all those cute icons on it). Right click. Choose "Properties". Go to "Settings" (or similar). Change your screen resolution to at least 1024x768. And read the wiki page for other possible problems.

Dude, the only way is to change your screen display.
Try this.
Go in "Start" -> "Control Panel" -> "Display" -> "Settings". Can you do that?

Apparently either you have a 'bigbrother is watching' administrator who doesn't let you do anything more then turning the computer on and off, or you have a ton and a half of viruses.
If you're an admin yourself, the only way to change those options (the disabled things) is through regedit...
If you can tell me whether you're an admin or not, I can try to help you get the options back.

I'm pretty sure I'm not an admin if the PC is telling me to contact an Admin

Not necessarily though. It always gives that message even if you are an admin.
Added: go to RUN > type "regedit" (don't TOUCH ANYTHING THERE)
Go to Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
And show me a printscreen of what is there.
If you can't open regedit it means you're not an admin.
DONT TOUCH ANYTHING THERE... You can SERIOUSLY mess up your system.

For printscreen, press "Print Screen" on the top right of your keyboard, go start->accessories->MS Paint.
Edit->Paste (Or ctrl+v) to paste the screen and save it. Load
http://www.imageshack.us in your browser. Click "browse" there, and select the picture. That'll upload it to the net, then just let it load. When it's loaded look in the very bottom square box for the direct link to the image. Copy that link and paste it here.

There's a button on your keyboard, top right which says "PrntSc" that takes an image of your screen and places it on the clipboard. So get regedit in the frotn of the screen, press it, open paint, paste it, crop the area, save it as a .jpg/.gif and then upload it using imageshack (imageshack.us) then put the url it gives you between tags and post it here.

You don't need to crop it, just make sure when you click "save", on the dropdown bar you choose "JPEG" or "JPG" and not "24 color bitmap" or "BMP" or whatever. When you upload it, just paste the link, you needn't bother with .

No, paste in paint and save as a jpeg in "My Documents"

C:\Documents and Settings\Yourname\My Documents\My Pictures

There we are
NoControlPanel 0x00000001 (1)
Edit it, and change the 1 to a 0
It should work

(the one in brackets)
Explanation: NoControlPanel is a registry key which disables your control panel. The 1 in brackets is the boolean on/off. 1 is on, 0 is off.
If you change the 1 to a 0, it'll turn off that registry key, and allow you access to the control panel.

O_O Don't change anything else unless you know what you're doing, revert them to what they were before
Added:
Make sure you read the illarion rules, if you get yourself banned after all the trouble we had to get you IG, I'm goign to bezerk and kill someone...
