I have received the list of charges from Captain Taliss and would like to give the accused the opportunity to defend the charges against them. I would also like the accusers to come forward and present their evidence to me.

The accused are Dalan "Gordon" Ginthor - charged with threat and duress, giving false information to authorities and defamation - and Ethan - charged with arson.

All who wish to testify, please send me your doves and I will set a hearing date.

A friendly reminder to not use offensive magic in town. This goes for even weak or illusionary magic as it can still cause distress. Meaning no fires, not fireballs, no ice, no poison, no walls, the whole deal. Healing, portals, and teleporting are all allowed. You will get a warning if found doing this once, then further action may be required.

So is grabbing a hatchet and chopping wood. The Lizard Razzxs is hereby banned from the territory of Trolls Bane for a undetermined amount of time due to attacking a few people within town borders, and allegedly stealing carrots.

More seems to be added after a short period of time. The ink is more fresh and in a distinctly different color.

The lizard has been seen in town since the ban. He has alluded arrest and is now consider harmful to the inhabitants of Trolls Bane. All guards are to be at full alert and watch out for a annoying lizard that goes by such a name as noted above.

Thank you,
Julius Rothman - Town Guard

A date has been set for the trial of Dalan Ginthor for (( this sunday at 3PM US eastern time, 9PM german time )). As agreed by all parties, the trial will be held at the Arena as a neutral location. All witnesses may provide their testimony in person or may send me their statements by dove if they are unable to attend at the appointed time.

I have not yet received word from any representative of the man named Ethan. (( throw me a bone, man ... who the heck are you? ))

I was not aware one could be banned for allegedly doing anything. Your corrupt and selfish guards will devour Trolls Bane.

He's banned more so for the attacking, Jeran. The stealing carrots are simply added so that if the lizard is caught and a hearing held, witness of the carrot stealing incident can come forward. If you don't believe the words of Knight Dantagon and severel others that say he did, then you should have yourself checked out by a few medicos. Aye?

I tended to the wound of Merri, and it is true he was wounded over a game of cards.
The lizard resisted simple talking, and ignored warnings. A man then went to see if he needed help, and touched him, then the lizard threw the man to the ground. He also harrassed Merri, and a few others at the card game, and eventually was running around on top of the card game and instructed an orc to attack Merri. I believe that he can be charged with attempted murder, for those reasons. Jaren, if you see the guard as so corrupt, join it, and then change it.
Artimer Fault.
((also you will have to act quickly, and maybe talk ooc to him, because when he was threatened with arrest he forced RP throwing a man to the ground, and then ran behind a building shadow and logged.))

The lizard was, from my viewing, most likely insane. Then again, it hardly matters to me as to his verdict. I am merely a passing witness.

The trial for Ethan Creswell has been set for (( this Sunday at 2PM US eastern time, 8M german time )) and will be held on the roof of the Seahorse. At the prisoner's request, the only dwarf permitted to attend the proceedings will be Judge Boindil or his representative.

Any dwarves wishing to offer testimony may send their statements to me by dove. All others wishing to testify may either attend in person or send their written statements to me.

A human has been found and captured, and is currently in the Troll's Bane prison. He appears as (33116****) and is wanted for multiple crimes.

1. Attempted Murder of Fooser (Witnesses: Fooser, Brer, Taliss, perhaps others)

2. Attempted Arson of the Fluffy Sheep Tavern (Witnesses: (unknown elf who warned us at the arena), humans in town (please note yourselves if possible))

Due to our treaty with Silverbrand, regardless of other charges, he will be sent to Silverbrand afterwards to face his crime of trying to burn the tavern.

Open/Informal Meeting

The meeting has been pushed back to ((8PM EST tonight, ~3.5 hours)) at the Seahorse inn roof due to criminal issues that took extra time. This is an open meeting with no set discussion or points of concern, so anyone may come at any time after the start time.

Open Meeting / Regarding Trials

First off: There will be open time again tonight for anyone who wishes to come, you may come and go as you please, since we had one last night I don't think there will be too much to do. ((8PM EST))

Regarding Trials - The events of the past days have shown the flaws of our system, we were unprepared, and we did not do well because of this. I would like to keep trials open, but if the same behavior continues as last time, they will have to be made closed. No more random killers coming out from the audience to testify for the criminals when what they are saying is clearly garbage. No more casting when people are trying to talk, etc.

Guards will need to organize themselves better, and keep very careful track of witnesses, and get their statements in writing if they cannot show up in person. There seemed to be some confusion over what could be provided during the trial.

Also -- There has been a shake up in the government today, Brer Beothach is no longer "Astral Advisor" due to aiding the disruption of a trial. Also there will be a new judge decided upon later, there was a brief discussion and I feel the feeling was mutual that the job was too stressful and problematic during this week, we thank Fianna for her time.

More to possible be discussed tonight.

Be well,
F

I, Evan Ross, Forester of Trollsbane, Would like to propose that only citizens be given permission to cut down trees in Trollsbane. All others who are caught cutting trees would be fined and have all materials they cut confiscated. Tree's should be there for the citizens, Not people who are passing though town.

Citizen Merrilyn Ferly has reported that an orc looking like ((1367******)) has attacked him on two separate occasions.

First Attack:

III. I Section D. Assault: Pushed Merri against the wall then threw him into some barrels
Witnesses: Dantagon Marescot, Starling, and the elf that goes by the name Wolf.

Second Attack:

III. I Section D. Assault: Kicked the small halfling in the leg with a steal boot
Witnesses: Rosendil; any other witnesses that saw this offense please contact me by dove.

As a recruit of the Guard I leave the punishment up to my superiors.

Guard Recruit,
Eli Travinus

PS if these reports are verified then the accused is also guilty of lying to the Town Guard on the 22nd of Findos.
a Class II.II Section B offense.

Ayla To'lorn is the new judge in Troll's Bane, send complaints or criminal trial information to her.

Shane Lovett is the new astral advisor, replacing the trial-disrupting, unloving, one-legged Brer Beothach.

This is outragouse on both parts. I forsee that no good can come of all these changes, At all. With ethics much questionable, especially in such confusing time's due to the 'new' government's arrival- one seems to instead find a broken government that has been reinstalled.

When will our government learn from their mistakes.
