... No, that doesn't work.
#me takes and eats the fish.
That could be male or female.
You spy on them and wait for them to fish/craft then ctrl click them so it says "#me interrupts his/her work"

. Of course, this way you must first check the target isn't Taliss or you're pretty owned.

Rofl..
Taliss begins to saw wood.
Taliss suddenly stops sawing wood.
Taliss looks up at the shop window.
William Elderberry ducks quickly.
Taliss: GGRRROAAAH WILLIAM
Taliss Grabs his sword.

@Alex; Mwarharhar..*rubs his stomach*..I have my ESC button dangling around my neck on a chain;
LIZARDS FOR VIVIPAROUSITY!
Lizardmen..or would they say..Lizardwomen..?
seem like high evolved reptiles..makes me think..the males might be smaller then females
(because of the lesser energy needed for the final act of reproduction);
males might also be, eventually, more colorfull then females, because of their ability to dwell on land and the interconnected good visual perception;
(females need better chances to hide, because of larger size and small percentage of overall pop.)
males might have more dangerous bone outgrowths attached to their heads,
to rise their chances against same-sexed rivals;
males might have a part of most flexible skin below their chin, for featuring their cantos..making them utter more eloquently in other tongues;
the smaller ammount of females is a natural effect of a selective procedure,
if the creature needs much time to develop from birth (hatch?) to maturation, and the mortality of the youngsters is high;
and finally..i might think these shapes infront of the chest might be simply naturally evolved armor plates to protect the breathing organs
from hostile surroundings;
How do you guess a male lizard from a female?
Show it a silvercoin at night. If its male, it starts croaking.
And on fairies and the shortest distance of any known race to ethereal planes, i propose, any willing reader to continue with the sexual habits of the (Lumbricidae), most complex correlations i will not further disburse,
though i would like to.
RLY. Learning about these foregoings made me think much about the basic foundations of social relationship.
@Ambrosine; The avas are created by 3D programs and post rendered, i dare to remember;
An example for such freeware programs i can recall would be " 3Dmax ".
I`d expect one to three months for getting used to the basic elements of this special program.
give it a try

So, to make this clear...
Are we allowed to have characters that are male faeries? Even if no graphic exists? Is it against the rules?
I'd like to RP a male faerie (I've thought up a neat personality for him) but want to make sure it's not against the rules or anything weird... ^_^

This discussion took place allready. Its allowed to play male faeries.

I didn't thank it was clear.... >_<... but I'm not all that bright.
Thankies!
And back to the subject of faerie/lizard avatars:
Not knowing anything about 3D graphic design... Are there any other programs that would be appropriate for making them? (Let's just say that 3D Max isn't an option for my comp and leave it at that...)

Quite a while ago, i made some okay looking things with blender and some hints and tips from martin.
But, blender also neeeds some time to work yourself in.
Plus, it is much easier to make simple items like the big beer glasses which get more and more empty when drinking, than to make animated series thing or even a complex animated character.
Poser can be used for that. But for illarion to be able to use the pictures made from the models, there should not be any copyrights on these, i think.

btw, would "the Gimp" be a program to use for making grafics usable for illa?
if yes, is there anybody, who can give some hints?

Gimp is a (rather crappy IMO) 2D image editor. Almost all Illarion graphics are 3D, so probably it'd be really difficult to create graphics using it that fit into Illarion.

Would Photoshop CS2 work?
Er, CS3. I cracked the new one.

Answer that question for yourself.
BTW: Producing suitable graphics is as hard as programing I'd say.

I think Lances question is a yes or no answer only, Martin.
Maybe you should try and answer it.

if CS3 can produce 3D graphic... then it might. Although what I know is that CS3 only for 2D.... which means....

Replace the Gimp with CS3... and skip that crappy part... ^.^

It's easy to make 3D shit in PS.
All it takes is some sk1ll lulz.

Photoshop is not a 3D program, some possible 3D designs can be done but nothing as close to 3D programs like poser. The best bet if you don't have or know how to do a 3D program is to find some that are free of copywright to use IMO.. there are some free 3D models, whether right for Illa though is another question.
