Talking of Nordmark.. Has it ocured to you that they only speak german? ive already tried trading onions with them, and didnt even get a response... Also I would like to be a cook, and not a farmer, so trespassing to farm is out of the question.

I don't think there are too many rich cooks around. That is something which people seem to forget when creating trading goods for towns. Poor people can NOT afford that many things, and putting something so BASIC as a trade good means that nobody will buy it.

If you were to put something needed for advanced cooks, that would be more effective, because by that tyme, the cook would be able to afford it.

My two cents.

Thats silly, they would have developed things that they could eat to survive before they start marketing expensive food. Plus marketing only expensive food drastically lowers their earning potential from the middle class by only meeting the demand of the very few. Why do you think there are ALOT more middle class restaurants than very expensive ones in real life? :roll:

@Nitters

Now that food is a *must* for all characters and high quality food even more so for some:

You should consider: Are "Onions" basic good?

If so, then they should be commonly available. Now, this does not mean that the Nordmark could not have an advantage with Tomatoes and Onions, but it does mean that they are not given just to few.

Any progress on this? My char spend an entire food bar on cutting down just 7 trees while I was able to fish around an hour without any change on the foodbar. Pretty inbalanced, no?
