Wasn't the point of the special race essay that the races were brand new and many people did not know how they were supposed to be rped? Now, I think we all know how to do so. For instance, when you join the game you don't automatically know how to rp an orc, what type of language they use or such things, but you can pick it up rather quickly by looking at other orcs. (I suppose this isn't the case nowadays :/). Anyhow, we know how to rp the creatures now, so can't you let them become none-special race? You could also implement it that on a new account you have to be a human for x amount of time before you can have another race.

this would give us double the amount of humans we already have in game, or even triple. And i think there are already too many.
Thats not a problem is it?
Humans should be a dominant race in my opinion...

Yes, but remember when we had 20 players online, and about 7 would be human, 3 orc, 2 lizards, 3 dwarves, 4 would be elves and 1 would be halfling?
It was a nice balance instead of EVERYONE being human.

Probably not everyone would play a human. All the players with a bit RP experience would pass a special races test. Thus most of the humans would be newbs and noobs.
hm...I just thought if this is bad at all.

Not necessarily true.
Why would experienced players not play humans? Just because people have experience doesn't mean they will play the special races.
But it is true that all noobs would be humans, but that isn't any worse then now. Instead of having a mixture of races with noob players, they'll be all humans.

Of course not, but I think that the experienced players would like to balance the game. Yes, there are some characters one has to play as human...
But all in all I start to like this idea.

[Fact] If there were more better goblin-requests there would be more goblins ingame. [/Fact]
In my opinion all races except the human one should go through a test.

Kay.
Lets make all races except humans special.
But what of the already-existing characters?

Humans can be a large mixture of things, its not a problem.
I'd rather not have a n00b elf who wouldn't know what Bragon was if he exploded in flames...
The existing characters *sighs* let them be.
