It does work now, I have gained skill in it.

It worked before when implemented/tested.

It stopped working for some time due to glitches/errors.

Clear any thing up??? 8)

*tried poisoned serinjahs*
No skill from poisoned serinjahs, bugged? Worked with daggers, but not the serinjahs.

There was a really nasty bug in the fighting system that made all poison effects while figthing impossible.

Some had allready to feel the effects of that fix and got clouded by some scorpoins.

I will check the poison serinjahs later.

Thanks. *remembers the scorpions of mas pwnage*

While your at it.. Mind making the skill poison with a capital P. It looks at because it is the only skill that starts with a lowercase letter.

Think about that. If i do this i would wipe the poison skill you allready have.

This true?

The skill that uses the yellow potion doesn't seem so useless to me, now that yellow potions do actual damage again.

But the poisoning from weapons seems to have tiny effect or is still effecting your food bar, still of course in a minor sense, its hard to tell which is which. It seems mummies use poison weapons on occasion but ive never seen much effect outside of server messages

Oh and Nitram you could always fix up those magic poisoning spells, you know so that it doesn't wear off one second after it's cast (nudge nudge)

WOOO!

I got the poison skill today with my new Pally ;)

well, i got the subjective impression, that every second mummy is poisoning my chars now.
it generates a lot of speech, and a lot of hunger.

two questions to that:
1) i got till 8 times the message, "you feel, how...."
ended by only one message, that the poison stops to work.
is poisoning accumulative?

2) what happens, when a char has no green bar left?

@ question Two

No food bar= dead (or did in the past anyway)

It might be that the two poisoning skills actually affect different things, one effecting health and one affecting your food bar.

i thought, if the food bar is totally down, the red bar goes slowly down and you get a message you are hungry or something?

Posted: Fri Apr 13, 2007 2:40 am
by Athian
not sure, i haven't had a character that hungry before, so if it's changed to that i wouldn't have known

Eirik is correct.

After the food bar got down to 0 your health lowers slowly ( well... "slowly" means around 5min to death )

permadeath?
or "cloudy" death in a nightshirt?

Actually poisoning from a poison dagger affected my health bar and not the food bar at first

That's because of your attributes. I can have a full hunger bar with Will and wait half an hour and my health bar wouldn't have filled up max. But my mana goes VWOWM right up to top in seconds ;) . Same with my Pally's health. He doesn't lose health; he loses hunger :P

So, any skills that have faults in the name won't be fixed?

??

Also....

The system is bias toward halflings
No halflings should be using posion daggers! Less you have another charavter you are using. As for the poisoning skill there is a trick.
