well besides samantha i know another mage that solos golems. It seems to me that mages are way too overpowerd that they can destroy suhc powerful monsters so easily, without much of a hassle, and that us warriors have to die 3 or 4 times before we make a strategy to kill it, and need a group of some of the strongest warriors in game to take one down in a reasonable manner, and now, to have any real reward taken away from us

I wouldn't call it easily when a mage needs 5-6 times the amount of spells for a golem which the mage would need for a normal player char. we simply can kill him better because we can stand far away and cast, so that the golem doesnt even notice us and ran after us.

and could we please stop talking about how more powerful a mage is than a warrior every time a mage can kill something more easy than a warrior? thank you.

I was not argueing, i was just stating simple facts that might not have been realised when the gms got a sudden message HOLY MOLY I KILL GOLEMS IN 5 HITS FOR 30 SILVERS.

when, there is a different party in a different situation.

edit: Samantha, a mage casting a spell which removes almost half of a players health could not kill the golem in 20 hits+, just to note.

if you can kill it by yourself without it seeing you, thats VERY easy, end of story. (which seems like a bug to me...)

if anything, the golems magic resist should go up instead of rewards going down (so mages cant get a shit load of moeny off of them), because the current reward is fine for the amount of effort we have to put into to kill one, replace armor/weapons/potions. And we fight in parties, so its not 30 silver for one person, its split up, and its an uncommon drop for golems so we dont get nearly as much money as you think

and i've seen you start countless bitch fests when warriors could kill mages easy, its the same concept here, one class is noticeably better than the other, so dont be a hypocrite eh?

now there is FINALLY a mob that takes work to figure out how to kill well, requires teamwork, and actually has a good reward!!! And now its fucked up because mages can pwn them without even being seen

No, because that is too much money for that "mob". if it would have been just the mages they would have increased the golems magic resistance. but no, they decreased the money dropping.

think about that.

it was simply a bug, and not intendet! Accept that.

60 silvers earned in two days with an overall fighting time of two hours...that is far too much. and everyone of you could have earned that much. its simply unbalanced and not fair for all the others who dont powergame their fighting skills up to kill monsters and still try to make a living and earn their coin ig

The dev i spoke to said differently.

Its simply mages ruining things again, they should not even have their say, because now the perfect conditions and reward are corrupted as usual.

End of.

(by the way, i could never get any share of this money myself, and never have. which proves i am not fighting for MY rights, but everyones.)

Yes, who really cares? It only affects a very small number of players in illa, so there really is no point arguing about it. It does just show how a lot of you only really care about your own characters, and their existance, and not the game as a whole.
The end solution is, dont kill golems. There, now everyone is happy. :D

Pretty inaccurate, as i am talking for what the community should have in terms of risk = reward.

But its fine i guess, mummies were always the common npc to kill anyway, might aswell not change.

But what I mean is, how many of the community have characters who are involved in golem killing? And it wasnt particularly directed at you, just in general, I think this is true.
But I'm done now

If you were issued a waring not to drive, what would you do? Would you ask questions or just say "As you wish master"?

I wouldn't go off talking about the unfairness of gas prices, or why some people get better cars than others

It was a misstake since the golems are weaker against the warriors then you wanted. This time it has nothing to do with the mages.

The content is solved.

Every two golems of four dropped 30 silver coins when i tested. One dropped 100 copper and one nothing ( i tested that for a while after the player who reported the bug left ).
The drop bug was abused by a few players, but not too massively. Thanks to server logs, only those who abused it too often will have to fear consequences. Strictly seen, if someone abused this bug that would make two rule breakings, bug abuse and not reporting... ;)
