Verachtete Francesca,

I am able to play this game also.
Should i start giving full-armor sets to newbies for free?
If prices like that are acceptable, why not then.

Just because I have quit from SMACC now doesn't mean I fully support you.  I am not saying that you should sell for SMACC prices and let everyone else ruin you, just try a bit higher.  Like make it 50 gold for a firesword.  You would still get PLENTY of business, plus you may have some coin in your pocket.  You want to fight me, that is your choice.  I see no need in further conflict, so unless you require it, it is done.  Only I urge you to consider what I have just suggested.

Astral at this moment in time I am charging 50 gold for a firesword. And the reason you probally do not know this is because when I posted the new price list it got lost in the mess of other post. Post which really have no reason to be here. That is why I ask you not to post here unless it is an order or somthing very important. I hope now that you see that. And breaking of from Smacc was a good idea. And no I do not want there to be any harsh feellings between us. Fighting over things like this normally never ends. So its best not to start. And astral I hope you see my point when I say I have to have low prices. If mine were the same as smacc's or even a little less I would loose a lot of business becaause of it. well I must get back to work. Francesca your order will be done very soon.

To Beowulf

it is not the question who will put the village afire - it sure won´t be that blacksmith Erdrick - but what he was trying to tell you is - when you get everything for free you never know it´s value - I had been blacksmithing a long time until I could make my own plate armour of which I am proud - I have learned the values and ways in Illarion - but if you give away everything for free... well, why should a newbie try to be a real part of Illarion? most people think that the goal they have to achieve is to become the best and that will be how they will handle Illarion... fighting others, maybe killing them... setting the village afire... maybe not

you have to make those people come back and enjoy Illarion and you surely can´t do that by giving everything for free - because as I said - if something is for free you neve learn its true value...

and this other blacksmith Turin Ironhammer that wants to sell everything way too low... he better be digging for gems and sell them to the shop if he is after money... they are easier to get than armour can be smithed.

I don't mean to offend anyone, and I will try not to, but . . . who the heck gave SMACC the authourity to dictate what prices people have to pay for products. I think it is good to see people selling at better prices than SMACC. If people want to sell at cheaper prices SMACC should just keep their noses out of it, it bugs me when I try selling something and then some SMACC people come along and say "You can't sell at that price, that's a stupid price" etc. and more so, if I want to give something away for free cos I dont need it, that's my choice. So people from SMACC, I dunno if its just the newbs thinking their tough going round shouting about SMACC trying to dictate everyone's prices but just leave the rest of us alone.

I believe that there should be some standards, but SMACC was simply outrageous.  They wanted us to sell plate mail for 500+ gold.  Who'll buy it at that price?  Maybe there should be some compromise in the middle, but their demands were horrid.

Astral your order is ready and so is yours Francesca. I would also like to say that if you dont pick up your order after it has been done for about a month.... well I might just sell to some one else. That is just a word of warnning. And if you don't like what SMACC is doing don't talk about it here. I don't support them but I don't like the mess all the papers about them make. So go put it where SMACC will see it. After all they boycot people like me. So they won't see it here. hehe

Thanks for your time and business

snow flake amuletts increase your defence some what. Which is why I sell them as part of a set of armor. Astral your arrows are ready. Tell me a time when you will be around town so I can give them to you.

I would now like to show a revised list of prices.

     Fire swords 50g
     2 hand sword 100g
     Plate armor 50g
     Knight helmet 50g
     Knight shield 50g
     Knight gloves 50g
     Knight boots 50g
     Snow flake Amulett 50g

Buy a full set of armor and get 50g of the price. Full set includes all of the ARMOR listed
above. Not weapons. Also I can make any thing with metals but it will be 50g for any thing
not on the list (except tools) this is because I don't keep any things but what is on the
      list in stock.

arrows 2g a piece unless 200 or more ordered then 1g each(Arrows must have order
      place for them here)
      Cross bolts same as arrows
      Bow 15g
      cross bow 20g
Wind arrows 3g each unless 200 more then 2g(must place order)
      Top battle staff 50g
      Wands 100g

      Mana potions 10g each
Green healing potions 10g each(must place order for all potions)
(I no longer carry healing potions besides strong healing)
any smacc members who have a problem with this can leave town for all I care.
Perhaps it's time that we for a group that protects the right that people are allowed to
chose the prices they sell at.

These prices are okay, but i personally feel that they should be a little higher.

I am not aiming to offend anyone so don't bother to object to my statement .
