When do you have to use sickle and ground? I have only a light blue skill and already it seems like i am getting no skill from shift clicking.

Ava also has a light blue skill and I stopped gettng any, but stikle does not give either it seems

Yes, you'll have to switch to farm ground to gain any skill. You only gain skill when you succeed in finding something, so it takes a long time to gain any skill. I've gotton 2-3 skillups from this (yellowish green skill) over many months.Wyrda wrote:i meant on farm ground, already should i switch to there?

are you sure?
my Tjalf has the lowest perception imaginable. 3 or 4.
just by collecting every herb, he sees, when wandering, he got light blue herb lore

Does shift clicking with your sickle in the desert work? i had heard it does.
