Grant, your father has been led into his actual situation by his greed for power. Now, he will have to face the consequences.
If you are going to fight against everyone, that will lead you nowhere but to a life as a bandit and a short life expectancy.
Stephen has misused the name of Malachin to legitimate his power, that is why the gods don't seem to be on his side actually.
It is now time for him and you to repent, to go inside, and to find the way back to modesty and a certain righteousness which does not bear the word "self" in front of it.

The fact is that he is in jail. And if I have to risk my life as a bandit or my life in generel for his freedom then I will.

Then use patience, young fool. You will reach only more harm done if you raise your blade without thought. Besides, this may even be unnecessary if the punishment of your father turns out in something like a ban from town or imprisonment for a few months or years.
again, the writing is not signed.

Under what right does this, alliance of the dwarves, the Rose and the other factions imprison Stephen Rothman? I have been wondering this for some time now, your laws apply to those under your rule, and those visiting your lands. Rothman took over silverbrand, that much is true, and in doing so made the dwarves angry, and yet now silverbrand is once again there own.
Strange, indeed very strange. The fact that you all claim to be right in what you do. IF Rothman was to be jailed it should have been by his OWN people, not by the outside powers. Tis funny really, how you all believe justice works, and tis odd how you impliment your ideas to the island's inhabitance. Stephen Rothman was a citizen of trollsbane, and under such the remaining government of trollsbane should be attempting to negotiate for his return. And yet, they have not.
Tis strange how this land has so changed over the years.

actually Revlen in this case i believe Stephens direct jailing should be made and maintained by the people whom his actions had the most direct effect upon, as in the dwarves. for it was there walls he breeched and there home he stole, in this sense it makes him a prisoner of war. and he would thusly stand trial as an outlaw of there state. In situations of war, never has another kingdom, handed over a leader former or otherwise to his own people, for he would not stand trial and be punished by the system he Subjugated.

True, then why is he in the Grey rose prison? Tis funny, i remember not the grey rose and trollsbane being at war. Perhaps the allies of the grey rose, the dwarves, but not the grey rose.

the hamlet of greenbriar
i tjalf kormsson say, i take over govermenting the hamlet till Dusty is back, or new elektion is hold.
the other councillers send me a dove if you still live and are free.
i decree:
grant rotman is no more a citizen of the green briar!
i kick him out of his post in our militia!
i declare him banned!
i declare him out-lawed! everybody who meets him may kill him.
i ask every knight, soldier, mercenary and adventurer on the islands to hunt him!
this is valid untill mayor Dusty Bottoms is back in one piece and back in office.
to everybody: who will lend the greenbriar money? to be paid back when the planned auction of buildings will be held.
we need money, to offer prices on the head of the outlaw -Grand Rotman- and his followers.

Perhaps becouse i doubt any would siege the grey refuge to help stephen excape....unlike silverbrand where if he was there stephens followers would most definantly beat down the gates. The Grey refuge is lead by true followers of malachin not a power hungry currupt man like stephen whom claims to be a follower of malachin but would only taint the true nature of the god as WE know it.
