We shall have to see my friend,
The town hasn't even undergone even the 'thinking' process for the construction.

Goiath is not large enough to support another new city.

Widespread destruction of the Southern Forest or any part thereof is unacceptable. Much trouble has been caused with the protectors of the forests in the past by incursion into this area. Such action as you propose would have very serious repercussions for yourself and the whole Island.

This area is inhabitted and therefore belongs to those inhabitants. It is not yours to claim.
Varshikar does not recognise your claim.

I like the idea of a harbor town. It would be such a nice place to be, to write new songs, to play the songs allready known and I could entertain different people allways, oh what a joy.

I will support you in this, if this is what you are planning, m'lord Greybone.

Fjaen,
For someone who thinks they can build and run a city you seem to be lacking in some important skills.
I will give you a little help.
Diplomacy is an important skill for a city leader.
Good Diplomatic etiquette would be to speak to the inhabitants of an area prior to claiming said area as your own and announcing plans to demolish their homes and replace them with your own.

You dont seem to be understanding what jeremy is saying. The ones who inhabit that land do not negotiate about thier homes. IF thier homes are threatened there is sure to be many angry biengs that will be ready to fight and kill . You will be suprised at the efficiency of a troll army. Much less the other folk of the forest whom could turn your new city into a weed infested garden.

As I stated before. I've traveled through the woods myself and have found, maybe two or three hostilities. No trolls, No ogres, and no fairy's.

Hurt the trees more then needed for survival, and the trolls come. The trolls come and you , your town, and any who follow you will surely die.

What kind of leader will ignore what others have to say and simply reply with 'thank you for your imput' when he or she doesn't feel like responding to constructive criticism? A bad one. You are simply making yourself look even more foolish than you already are. You've already done it thrice without recognizing or replying to our words; why, I ask you, should anyone follow a man who cares little of the thoughts of others? Everyone complains that this is apparently the case in Trollsbane; are you truly going to live in this "Sorbania" under the same wretched rule? What would be the difference? This is nonsense.

I have taken your words into consideration, If I do not reply to a question, it does not make me look foolish, but rather implies that the answer will be coming.

Again, thank you for your imput.

I can see that many of you are appauled by lord Greybone's proposal to make this new Sorbania, but do not try to convince him otherwise. His determanation toward Sorbania is unmatched, if something shall stand in his way, it most likely wont be your words.

Fellow supporters of the Territory of Sorbania,
Today I am taking a trip through the Territory to map it.
I shall post my ideas and a rough sketch of the land when I return,

Sincerely,

There will be reasons, the left southern gate will lead to fertile soils, farmland. The other will lead to the harbor.

Maybe you should respect the freedom of nature and think about your idea, to build walls around the woods once more.
You can claim the earth, but not the beings, which are moving on it.

I don't plan on putting a wall around the forest, as there will not be one. THe land will be used for the city. Regarding the forest, I do not plan to cut the skeleton forest down, but use that space between it.

Regards,

Well, Fjaen Greybone, even if it won't stop you cutting down the trees, for no sense:
This is nature. This is the free Land, Ushara and Oldra gave us, to guard and watch it. Not to destroy it.
We have enough towns and cities. We have enough place elsewhere.
There's no need to steal animals their homes. There's no need to destroy the wonderful art of Oldra and Ushara.
Keep that in mind, before making such inconsiderant decisions.

I would like to tweak the plan of the wall a tiny bit.. The southeastern bit of wall around the bay of Sirani could be taken away, saving alot of money for other materials, and you just put a wall around the Bay itself, where the harbor will be located. It is just a suggestion, but maybe a good one if you think about it.

I think that any resident creatures will be rather annoyed. This could easily lead to trolls. Do you know what trolls are? They protect the forests. And then you could get fairies. Perhaps they won't stop you directly, but they will cause major problems. Involving thorns. Large ones. In places you don't want large thorns to go.

We have had to make peace with the trolls becouse of a few inconciderate lumberjacks clearing small clusters of forest, you propose to clear the entire southern forest which will be breaking what i think was an alliance made years back. I think between Caitlin, the head druid. If you do this, you will be giving us a third enemy one which we most definantly do not want -nature-

Varshikar officially opposes the Territory of Sorbania.
Destruction of the Southern Forest is totally unacceptable for any reason.
Fjaen Greybone will officially be banned from the lands of Varshikar unless he retracts all claims to the Southern Forest.

I'm afraid we of Greenbriar really have no official stance on the territory of Sorbania as our own southern forest has been wiped out without any repercussions to the current 'inhabitants'.

Personally, I think If Lord Fjaen can muster support and create another city to fight our enemies, I support him. I see no reason to seek ill toward Fjaen.
