Having an evil lobby adds excitement and enjoyment to the game.

Pwning it in three seconds flat does not.

It was just like that. And thats what makes many others of us so frustrated about the current ig state. Bevause now we who paly their roles fitting to the background story and common senses are the bad and evil ones, and get pushed around. So currently those doing common sense roleplay based on the backgroundstory gets discriminated ig
Ever thing that they might be trying to convince people that they arn't evil, that the things written about Bjolmur are untrue?
Its called "Using your brain." Aslong as they dont pose a threat, people like Stephen see no need to slay them, therefore giving them plenty of time to bolster their forces.

And about the whole part of wannabe heroes rushing to the temple and markous showing up... I see a perfectly good reason for it.
If your home or temple would be in danger, wouldn't you do everything to remove that threat.

You shouldn't look at it as if evil is non-humanoid, their just another party of people. And without them, the game would be boring for all the fighter characters.
If you just want to pwn, pwn, pwn all day long i suggest you go pick on some pigs.

And the whole gods thingie, its way overrated in your mind as i see it.
Many people wouldn't die for their beliefs, only few.
Not everyone has to serve a god completely and follow them 100% percent. It may not be honorable but it's life, alot of things may seem unfair to some.

If you decided to play an evil char, wouldn't you want to have him live for more than a week?
Its a game, everyone in it is supposed to gave fun.
Breaking a few 'rules' doesn't matter if it makes it more fun for almost everyone.

And if your looking to win the arguement... Then ok, you win... But the thoughts of a few people aren't going to change the minds of the GM's.

Why should good always have to prevail?
Why can't evil win for once?
Why can't there be some time of opression?

Still the main problem remains: There are to many good guys and not enough bad guys.

To many of those pure good guys who will die for their beliefs and then just get clouded and run back into battle as soon as they have their hitpoints back.

When someone has been disabled from battle, they should stay like that.

And generaly I think the players of evil guys are more fair in things like that, since they generaly after getting clouded dissapear for a while and don't run right back into battle.

So, people complain about the island being full of muscle bound wannabe heroes and state that they act too smart. Then a cult to Bjolmur comes along and tries to do what Bjolmur does best, decieve. The majority of the island (the heroes) are deceived because they are dumb?

It seems for once, things are actually going the way people wanted them to, but still complaints are made?

There will always, ALWAYS be complaints. Nothing will ever go the way people want them too, because no one can be happy unless there is something to complain about. Are we done here?

Haven't you done that already with Kl'urk in the lich war? While the town was conquered by the lichs and demon skeletons Kl'urk and other orcs celebrated and drunk at the tavern. than they had a barfight with three dozen demon skeletons and give Dravish a greetings and went than away :P

I am sorry, but is Misjilah doing a bad job at deceiving and keeping the people that do know about her schemes happy so they won't tell on? If so, please do tell me.

You still do that to player characters...

Either way, if you roleplay long enough something will turn up.

That sums up what the temple has done. As you can see, it's pretty ridiculous.
Not really. Bribery is an age-old crime.

Stupid question: How are we meant to destroy the temple and stop the evil when boosted chars protect it and beat up players?
Answer: Its not a quest, its not meant to be destroyed. So do not bother. just to sum that up.

And thats why we shall ignore proper and background fitting roleplay, show bad roleplay, and simply ignore it

If you want a decent story rules will sometimes have to be broken.

Fitting background rp: it has this, its just that the non members were not exactly noticing (they were not around anyway) to get insight.

Bad roleplay: bad about how the members currently act? - its all a dark plan.
bad about how the temple's doings inside? - it has great rp, its just that non members are obviously not around to see anything.
bad roleplay with how the temple is over protected? - its like Retlak attacking the magic academy, he will be blasted by many powerfull mages and not stand a single chance. lets say its fair.

Ignore it: Ignore what?

I'm not doing the Temple anymore for around 4 weeks now (someone else continued the quest since then), and have never done it all alone. The quest group of Illarion is doing it.

Concerning your quote:
Samantha Meryadeles wrote:And Athian, it is GM support. Markous supports them. And he would beat up every playeraction with gm chars just to hold the temple alive.
Never laughed that hard the last few weeks. I'm glad I don't do this anymore, but it's funny to see how people still bash me as the villain, even if I'm not involved. :)

If you mean walking around in public and claiming being a bjolmur whorshipper, yes. But more that other peoples doesnt care, and welcome them. and than still claim to play a good char.
bad about how the temple's doings inside? - it has great rp, its just that non members are obviously not around to see anything.
Sont know about the inner temple roleplay. but i know that its poor how the undeads walk around as if nothing is going on

Just that this mages would be playerchars using their chars trained and nonpushed skills. And not a hoard of gm summoned monsters and pushed chars bashing us.
