something out west is really not practical since the majority of the North American players are East Coasters.

I'm out. There's no way I'll be able to fly most of the way across the country. Pennsylvania is basically ON the east coast... More west is only slightly inconvenient for east coasters in comparison to how incredibly inconvenient PA is for everyone in the west. I don't know about most westerners... but its hard enough for me to pay bills sometimes. I could probably save up and plan for something, if it was closer.

It's a bit more difficult for North American players to get together, since the continent is so huge. But Maryland seemed to be the consensus, and Pennsylvania was the closest place with cheap hotel rates, so unless anyone can find a better alternative, I still think it's the most practical. It is going to be an 8 hour drive or so for me, so don't think I picked something 'convenient' for myself either, it just seems to make the most sense.

. Of course, I'd still need someone to give me a ride the rest of the way and let me board with them hotel-wise.

I still fail to see how Penn or Maryland make the most sense. Perhaps a poll to see just where everyone is located. The center location of that poll would be the most "equidistant."

Allright. Fine. Everyone post your states. I chose that location because that's the only feedback I had originally.

One thing: Please DO NOT bother posting if you don't think you can come. It would be silly to move it say to California if all the people out there won't be coming anyway. So we can find a beter location, but please only post if you actually intend on being there.

As for me, I'm in Massachusetts, and I know Quin is Rhode Island - we're about an hour and a half away from each other so I imagine where ever it is we'd travel in together.

Hmmmh.. North america ? I MAY, very perhaps, be able to come to the U.S. in the end of august. North Carolina, that is.
Depending on financial stuff though. And then, i'd have to look how far the meeting place is from where i may go and if it's reachable =)

So we got a rough Idear of location...hmm we just need a place, dates, how long the meeting will last, how much it is to rent the place, how many people are comming to carry the cost,what we all gona do when we get there and...mm.. food and drink.

I live in michigan and depending where it is, I will come. My suggestion is vegas. They have cheap hotel rooms too.

Actually.

If the meeting were pushed back to October I might be able to do Vegas, because I will be in Arizona for the second week of October. However I would only be able to say 1 day or so, because the Arizona thing is a family-oriented visit-trip thing, so I'd rather not go then.
