Damnit!! There was no Library incident!!!

Everyone has problems with the game, whether it's IG sex, skill cap, too much realism...Just because it is sex online that doesn't mean that the people behind the screen are 50 year old overweight men and women getting off on it. There is a difference between fantasy and reality. There should be no insulting people here and making them feel like perverts.

Its just a matter of RPing, sex just make the game more realistic. If you have a character that never found anyone attractive, then for me yuore a bad RPer. YOu dont need to"I LOVE YOU", but at least do #me stares a her a moment . Cause someone that never found someone attractive is either dead or loving animals only.

Do sex in your bedroom in RL. That's nothing for a game. I would be deeply angered if I see anyone doing cybersex in a public Illarion place.

If it is really a public place, I would be more than likely 'annoyed' too.

If I run into a couple per chance somewhere on the map I would probably just laugh my ass off and of course rp it accordingly.

Cyber is the wrong word to be used in a roleplaying game. Cyber tends to mean that both people involve are doing it for their pleasure. However in Illarion when the characters have sex it will mean more. It is the people who do not understand that sex is more then *inserts penis there* that are the perverts. When the characters have sex there is a deeper connection. The way they have sex shows how they are, wether they work to pleasure their partner or they demand their partner works for them adds depth to their character.
This is why I disagree with Markous.

not the players *have sex*, but the characters.THATS the difference. It is Roleplay.

I would think that the main problem would be that people ages 13-18 can acces illarion. Is it illegal for people under 18 to be exposed to that sort of thing in other countries too? besides you can rp love without going indepth on the act itself.

I woulnt have thought Ghorn would have agreed with that. If some characters have sex in public places, this is their problems, cause they will lose their reputation greatly, this is my thought. Also i hate that age discrimination, what the heck can it do if a 13 years old person sees sex in texts?! I mean most peoples of 12 years old have already been in a porno website, so some text sex wont kill anyone. Same for voting in RL, i see old peoples that dosent understand shit of politics, and they can vote, while a 17 years old guy that knows politic by heart cannot, that sucks its all discrimination for me. Well i feel better after saying that^^.

Its a rule violation. Report it if you really care that much, then move on with your life. People are going to roleplay sex in this game. As long as there are characters who have a will of their own, interactions with other people, and a creativity for 'suitable environments' (;)), a character is bound to come across it sooner or later. If it's only RP, then why not just log off for some time with the chars and later on continue with the RP as if they had sex?
I don't know. I always get the impression there must be something else that makes people actually want to describe the scene.

For me, the log off and log on later always worked pretty well.

If you see someone doign that ina public place, you roleplay it, as it isnt real. Have your CHARACTER tell them that it's gross and to get a room, dont be posting it on the boards. Of course, my character would probably be something like

Ules walks into the Shop
Someone(xxxxxxx) moans
Ules walks out of the shop nonchalantly, but quickly

This gives me an idea. You know the old slasher flicks where two couples sneak out into the woods and start to get wild when the evil killer shows up, breathing heavily, sharp implement at the ready and kills.

I'm making a slasher character for Illarion. This facilitates my desire to PK, as well. =)

i can pronounce his board name...um.....its something..like...Ay-EE-Goal?

A as in the letter A and goal as in what you're aiming for. Martin told me to keep it simple.

That's one of his only exceptions. I'm sure he just had to do it to make it friendly for the Illarion public as a GM name.

My next character will be named Moulukhrishniataszkha! =)
