*kicks Cain's rear* Get out of Loralyn's thread, you attention whore.
Best of luck, Loralyn.

Gods, Darren. I haven't even left yet! I'm not even out the door and you've already set your sights on a new person, the decent thing to do would be to wait until I was gone!
;]
Welcome to the club Loralyn, you'll be hard put to replace Estralis but if the GMs chose you then I'm sure you've proven yourself worthy.

Welcome Loralyn. I'll assume you're here to provide quests and such? If so, good luck and welcome to Illarion.

Loralyn has a lot of previous experience and has been playing my personal helper for a long time now and has really earned the role.
She's a "special" GM, a bit seperate from the rest of the GM staff, and her role is to be the new Quest Diva and take charge of a new group of player-questers. Her and I will be recruiting shortly. In fact, don't be afraid to mention your interest here.

A lot of us have a lot of experience, but are never granted the chance to do anything with it, regardless of how much we want to help.

I wasn't just speaking of experience playing, but she already knows how to run a quest and run a GM character and so on. If you want to prove your ability, apply for the quest group, Cain. =P

Does she? Interesting....
No thanks. I'd rather not become a part of another clique. If I can be a part of something, I'd rather it be where I'm actually in control of something, not carrying out orders and ideas from another. I've proven my ability in the past. I'd rather not do what I have already done many times before just so I can get into a club.

Thanks Aegohl, I think you've pretty much narrowed her identity down to like two people.

Ugh? Alright, Donal.
And this is really a game we play, rather than a matter of courtesy that we request from the players.
Edited to add:
That was a courtesy I, for one, was never granted thanks to a number of players.

What? I'm just saying that you've basically revealed this GMs identity to anyone with a brain. I NEVER said I would tell everyone.
Edit: And I doubt working it out is a breach of the rules, hm?

I would love to help with player run quests. I can't say I've had much experience at it, just the odd spur of the moment thing, or whenever Balamos needs rescueing, and I have a fair amount of online time. So if there are places, I'd like to find out more about whats involved.
