I won't crawl through a mountain of paper to proof whats clear, Misjilah.
the fact that you didn't saw the danger behind Ariges, that you trusted him and saw him as not dangerous, proofs that you are not able to be something like a queen.
A queen which we don't need, because the elven society will never be a monarchy, never shall an elf bow for an other elf, never shall be elves unequal and with more right than their brothers and sisters!

I would like to point out that the elders were happy to bring half elves and others who married elves if they wished, I have even ordered elves off Vanima who were abusive against half elves. I am really surprised though that Thalodos who really has seniority over you Misjlah let himself become your lacky and not your leader especially since he is better placed and qualified than you are.

Your solution, Misjillah, puts our ancestors and the traditions to shame.
It is not the duty of elders to decide things, and it is impossible even for elders to achieve goals without the active support of other elves.
We all have lain dormant, not only the elders did. To make up a goal, is up to the public, and our goals shall never be set by the will of a single ruler. We shall set up goals, and we shall elect the right elders who can coordinate what is necessary to achieve these goals.
Never before have elves been ruled like humans, or been property to their leaders. What you are attempting to, would drive away many elves from Vanima - as well as the ancient spirits guarding it. Vanima is home for ALL elves, and noone shall ever "rule" it, especially not on his own decision without asking all others.
You had no share in what was necessary for us when we settled in Vanima, and you shall not decide what is the best for us all. If you want, you can call yourself queen and rule your followers, but you shall not do that in Vanima.
Vanima belongs to every single elf - not to you alone.

You are not very affected by reason and pure logic miss Shandariel?
Even the elders could not have seen this coming, so that means they are not able to be something like elders, to put it in your words. Atleast make an effort to let your arguments be worthwhile Shandariel. Unless you are afraid to read through a mountain of paper. Because that shows that you do respect me, and your fellow elves whom have also posted.

Ten elves more or less to remove is nothing for those, who see what happens if your perverted farce becomes reality.Narmir wrote:It is not only a Queen you would have to remove.
If the ancient spirits leave the elves of Vanima, all of them will be doomed by the gods. You will no more be protected by the gods, you will no more live forever, you will die.

'Queen' we have known about this plot for weeks. However we feared that blood would be shed and so I have spent this time looking for your co conspiritors and reminding them that peace is better. However had I known that you would declare youself queen I might have told thm outright to stop it before something bad happens.

I saw it comming, like i saw it comming with you too. Many month ago I warned the elders and the elves that you are a danger and will cause problems and chaos under us elves. But they didn't listen to me. they wanted to give you a chance, to give you a home. They were too kind to you and now you backstabbed them. It is a shame.
And Misjilah, as you may see you have not the help of the whole isle. Many important groups and persons stand against you as queen, and the monarchy. and also many of the elves dislike your doings.
We don't dislikes your ideas, and your wishes for Vanima, which you wrote down. We dislike that you want to be queen and rule the elves, we dislike that you did this in secret and backstabbed the elders and the elves.

Moathia, you refuse my "I-dare-you"? I could call a vote myself ofcourse, to show I am more than willing to see the elven reaction to this.Misjilah wrote:And, as a sidenote, a vote would not make a difference any longer. If you take a close inspection of the memberlist, you will see that his number will exceed the half the number of active elves left upon our island. A vote could be nice, but it will not reveal new facts for me. You want a vote? You can call it if you wish.
Only elves are allowed to vote, and no forgeries will be accepted. You desired it, you will get it.

Sorry for interfearing in your little elven war but let me speak my mind.
The leaders of a realm shold be the ones who deserved it, who worked hard for their realm, who have earned trust and respect by fair means.
Unfortionatly this is not the case in many places but it is the ideal.
I'm not saying who's right i'm only stating my mind.
A group of rulers still sounds best but from what i understand both are groups.
I wold say make a one united group from the devided ones and bring double the prosparity.

Dear "Queen" Misjilah,
I joined your little group, that's right. I wish that something changes on our beautiful island. But what you don't know yet is the fact that I am against a monarchy. I was suspicious of you starting with the day we met each other, but I needed to join you because I was curious what is going on. And I think I can't permit that someone like you just claim to be the queen. Without a vote and all.
A monarchy is against our tradition and shall not be implemented here.
And to your ladies. How long do they live here? I don't think anyone of those two saw the development of Tol Vanima or helped for gaining the resources. We have to thank the elders and many elves for our isle. And what are you doing? You betray them and this is not very elven-like. Call a vote for new elders if you want a changing but don't play the queen here or else vanima will be a lonely island.

Fine. Say whom you would see fit as candidates for new elders. I would be more than happy to comply, but the current situation is not going anywhere. I do wish the best for the elven future, one way or another.AlaineMilan wrote:Dear "Queen" Misjilah,

I support change to the fullest, because change is what drives things into better times, instead of lingering in the past. The changes in leadership being seen in Silverbrand, Trollsbane, and now Vanima are signs that there will be much change and improvement on our post-war island. Though I do have to question any reference to a monarchy.
