@ Erart... try creating a new char.. and see how hard it is to bring him up to "your" level...
PLEASE STICK TO THE TOPIC
I know where there are about 11 cherry trees in a bunch... but when those are gone where shall we go? only 3 have cherries on them

Uhm, maybe try not killing them all? An unlimited supply of cherry tree branches was utterly ridiculous if someone hasn't already said that. A handful of people know how to plant trees, maybe you could trade some things for sprouts?

How many carpenters are stupid enough to cut off all the branches and kill it? You are just taking branches off.. how stupid can you get? could the char's intellegence effect this?
Also do the trees revive? i used to take only 10 units each time.. then come back for more later...second time died after 2...

you can kill a tree even with just cutting off three branches. or just after 50. you have no set amount of branches, everything is luck.

Apparently the problems cancel themselves out on their own with time...
I was amazed to see a large number of people planting trees for fun.. including a certain orc... as long as the trend remains.. there will be more than enough
In addition RE: newbies... there are a large number of cooks appearing all over... so even the new carpenter may gain enough money...
However RE: food value.. it isn't enough... my char reached a point where he was too exahusted to work so he ate : 7 apples 1 grapes 1 cherries 2 bread 3 tomatoes 3 carrots ... without getting full... Kind of strange

That figures out. Cooked food has a much higher food value than raw vegetables and fruits. The bread you ate gave you more nutrition than all the other stuff together.
Who would need farmers and cooks if the stuff you just pick up fills your stomach better than their work?
Three cooked meals a day will fill you up pretty good. Does that sound somehow familar?

Yes - bread is a cooked/baked food after all.
