If Kamik and yourself agree to let this matter rest for the present time, i think it would be best. It seems that you have both done wrong in each others eyes. And both admit to this.
Would you Steffi let this matter rest, and you Kamik.
Im sure we can all debate this in circles for many years to come, in which time trollsbane would lose a fine guard, and the company of a fine lady as yourself.

Lady i am not, i have killed far to many to keep that title.
Farel, if kamik were a woman, i would seriously think about letting it rest. But he is a man, and a man even laying a hand on me without my permission isnt anything i can forget about.

A lady you are Steffi as i find myself reminding you constantly. Im afraid if you dont let this matter rest, you shall lose in the end dear. And when i say let the matter end, i mean in the official sense.
Letting Kamik return to his position, and letting yourself return to the town without vindication.

It is a matter of honour. He and i were at truce, and he struck me down while i was already injured badly, when i had no clue he was coming at me hostily. If i die for honour, at least i die with my honour in tact.

You do not read my writing Stephanie, so matters shall stay open, i wish you both luck. My first writings hold my view on this matter.

Kamik Windslasher, and his accomplice Devrah.
Myself and Athian were within trollsbane to discuss with the guard the sighting of the man Guider within our lands, and when we arrived we came upon the body of the man Tervon.
We gave our aid to the guard in the removal of the body to only receive rebuke from the would be authorities. I beleive the words Varshakarian scum arose. And due to the hostile manner in which these two acted myself and the ambassador left them to thier devices.
Not long after our return to Varshikar Stephanie staggered to our borders, gravely wounded and with much distress. Administering her wounds as best could be done we made her comfortable.
The guard Kamik is a threat to all those he deems below himself, his superioty complex cleary showed itself in his manner to myself. The lack of regard of life is cleary seen in this man who spends the better part of his time slaying any creature which walks.
And im certain any will vouch for the hostility in the woman Devrah who is Kamiks partner in this.
If it is now a slayable offence to take items from outside the walls of trollsbane, it shall be a simular offence to remove items from the north and the surrounding lands.
It would displease me to take this measure, but if this matter is not dealt with it shall be so. In the past i have been courteous to the authorities of the south, but the lack of respect and the lack of simple manners shall change this. If one in my employ treated a person in such a way, not only would he lose his citizen ship, but he would be banned to again enter the lands.

It seems our dear Varshikari friends have fun by sullying the names of others with exaggerations and outright lies.
Perhaps you will want to watch what you say, for I am sure I could do a bit of sulllying on my own.
Now, what I fail to understand is why this matter is still being scribbled about on the town walls. Did not Pendar call for a meeting of all involved to discuss the matter? And, I am sorry, Varshikari, but I feel that group would limit itself to myself, Kamik, Pendar, Stephanie, and Callith.
Here's hoping we can all follow the advice Pendar made many scribbles ago,

You have quite a lot to say for yourself, threatening to kill people on sight whenever the reach of the law cannot find you outside of town. I dare not ponder what Trollsbane would be like if these types of people begin to believe that the reach of the law cannot get them WITHIN their own town. Pendar, I don't doubt you in any way about doing your job, but your taste in co-workers seems odd.

Aristeaus,
It is with some disappointment I have to call you out for attempting to slight me and slur the shape of events and occurrences. Perhaps you were not fully informed at the time of penning this note in that case all is forgiven.
The items we know were not the issue but disrespect for the fallen and the authority of the guard. If pilfering from the dead and blatant disregard for the lands authority are not an offence met by force then perhaps the guard should take to carrying flowers not axes.
Farel spoke sense when he stated that both have wronged the other and I take no pleasure in any of this business.
How ever what i will not see done is this made into an attempt to slander my guard as common thug’s striking people down for simple theft or as put it item removal.
By Stephanie’s own admission she is a killer and in my expierence usually a content one. The same shadow you would cast on Kamik she hangs about herself.
It seems to me lightly that two warriors slighted each other and took to spatting. You have from my side my promise of action and the resolution we reached earlier which now resides in Stephanie’s power to decide on.
How ever as you have now come out and fully placed your weight behind Stephanie in this matter. Please do not turn to me on next meeting and claim she is not yours.
After this supposedly unwarrented attack is it also stated she returned to town to attack a guard again. No she did not seek me out to see the matter resolved she did not go north and seek your support, she returned to spit on our law again and attack a guard. An action with carrys a complete ban from town alone. We can try and make her out a victim of terrible circumstance and the monster Kamik. Yet her actions must speak to and the question is raised with out victim is there crime?
If one in my employ treated a person in such a way, not only would he lose his citizen ship, but he would be banned to again enter the lands.
The way she was treated was being asked on multiple occasions to cease her actions. Then after declaring that our laws held no sway on her and goading Kamik to enforce them was in turn struck.
I would be cautious in this matter Moskher himself is not known for his hospitality on his own soil, I recall a dwarf getting a nasty burn.
Yours in service

Greetings citizens! I would to add my thoughts.
First Kammy is a good guard, always cleaned his sword. Quite the man when you need some reflexes.. cough.. well. Ive seen no wrong doings from this man.
And on a side note, id like to thank the tree spirit who broke the walls of the jail with Fir Trees! Hats off to ya sir!

Well, since the matter is taking a totaly different way of view, I'd like to express here, publicly, my view.
Devrah and I were trying to take the body to the graveyard, and it's true the Varshikari helped since the murderer was probably on their desert due to the clue of sand on the clothes of the corpse. And Devrah and I didn't disrespected them before Athian stated clearly that he would shut my mouth if I didn't do it myself. What is this, a threat within Troll's Bane territory? It doesn't really matter now.
But the fact is, we were outside the walls but we were still in Troll's Bane territory, and as a guard what I did was my duty: stop a robber. It doesn't matter the value of the items in question, it was robbering. And I asked her to give them back what she decided to ignore. So, yes, I attacked her and got the items backto bury them properly with his owner.
Days later, when I was coming back to town, before I even checked what was being made of my name on the walls, Stephanie attacked me and again on Troll's Bane territory, right before the East Gate. And there were two witness to this matter, but I'll leave the choice to them to get involved or not by their words to this. I attacked her in self-defence. Before she came to me I even advised her to let me pass without any trouble and that I didn't wanted to fight her.
Now, if my position of a recruit wasn't actually removed on the first attack, when I got the items back, than this second time she attacked a guard, inside Troll's Bane limits. And as our captain mentioned, this carries a permanent ban. Also, not satisfied in throwing my name to the mud, she threatened me and insulted the memory of my mother in public who had nothing to do with the case.
I really expect that justice is done.
And Aristeaus, your words surprise me. You don't know me or my motivations to speak so openly about myself. Surely, this wasn't a right action to someone who rules an entire state. You want to defend Stephanie? Very well, take her to your lands. But watch what you're bringing and making of your city before calling me a threat.
And also and lastly, I would like to hereby thank all the support of those defending me in this case, not only the ones that posted here, but all the kind words said to ease what I am feeling this moment. And also I want to say that the guard Devrah Liioness has nothing to do with this matter, meaning her position is not in discussion.
My thanks,
Kamik Windslasher

Pendar,
I am quite a bit more capable of controlling my flames, moreso than you are at controlling your outbursts. Anyone who was there that day could have told you that I was more at risk from them than anyone else. However, I am sure it is your wish that I back down and present the neck when a dwarf threatens me with an axe.
I will make you a promise, Pendar. If you want to settle this in the way that you are so prone to settling disputes as a guardsman, I would love to have this settled. There is but one person who keeps me from fulfilling this dream of mine. Strike, and my obligations to that person shall no longer matter to me, as she forgot her obligations to me long ago.
Kamik,
How would taking Stephanie to our lands protect her, when you are there acting as a bandit? This holds true for the rest of your order, as the spirits speak volumes of their trespasses.
Forgiveness is only a thought for those slighted once.
I Am,
Moskher of Varshikar

I am not a bandit, Moskher. My only reason to go to Varshikar was a friend in need and that was already solved. And since he is a citizen of Varshirkar, saving his life doesn't make me much of a bandit, does it?
Well, I don't expect you to care. The Moskher the dagger told me about is surely dead, you are not him.
Don't worry, you will have your precious coppers for my trespassing.
