What branch are you in? I'm about positive there are only certain times you can take a leave, mostly with holidays and such unless theres some kind of emergency. Maybe I'm wrong, tho'. Its rare but it DOES happen on occasion.

Marines. And I get 30 days paid vacation a year I can work something out with my CO Im sure.

Besides weekends I hear are usually free so it works.

Im also going to request Europian duty, hopefully they will have a opening up in Germany for a military intellegence personel that way it would make it really easy. Oh and I go into boot August 15 so Im not really in the marines yet just in DEP

One short question which needs a fast answer until Thursday.
The keeper of the house has asked me politly, if we can move our date to 30.3. Thursday - 2.4.06 Sunday. It would be a great help for him. If it is not possible (just booked plane, holiday or other things), we will keep the old date.

Nur eine kurze Frage, die eine schnelle Antwort bis Donnerstag braucht.
Die Hausbesitzer haben bei mir höflich angefragt, ob es möglich ist unseren Termin nach vorne auf 30.3. Donnerstag - 2.4.06 Sonntag zu verschieben. Es wäre für sie eine große Hilfe. Falls es nicht möglich ist (Flug schon gebucht, Urlaub schon reserviert oder anderes), werden wir den alten Termin beibehalten.

Ich hab meinen Urlaub zwar schon dementsprechend beantragt und auch genehmigt bekommen, aber ich kann versuchen, ihn zu verlegen... kann aber nichts versprechen.

Bevor jetzt jemand etwas ändert ... das sind genug Voten (besonders die Flüge), um sagen zu können, dass es uns nicht möglich ist, den Termin zu verschieben.

Es gibt immer eine Moeglichkeit. Entweder mit dem Auto (zu zweit geht das) oder aber auch mit dem Flugzeug. Wenn wir frueh genug sind, zahlen wir 19 Euro pro Flug (nach Nuernberg) und schauen, dass uns irgendjemand mitnehmen kann, der durch Nbg. faehrt. Ich bevorzuge fast den Flug, der ist billiger und WESENTLICH schneller.
