I STILL Dont get it. A Friend told me that what I did was wrong.
I just went to the "account request" page and hit the "add a achar to my account" button like I was told in one of the first posts anddid everything like a did before the wipe.
A friend told me that was wrong though so I guess I am just mentally retarded, Because I still dont get it.

My computer allways loads up the old account request screen for some reason.
I created my account at school, but there are still bugs.
When I try to add chars to it (old ones) it says the name already exists. I have no trouble with new ones, but old ones this allways occurs.
But Im not as stupid as I thought because it wasnt my fault, it was just that my computer was wierd.

Now it says that the server is down I get the "WSAREUSCONFUSED" whatever it is, its similar to that. I've gotten that from day 1 but I assumed it would wear off when I got an account.

I read earlier some people had trouble when they had overwritten the old client with the new one, and that deleting it and installing the client again would help.
I don't know for sure though, I simply had the client overwrite the old one, and the only problem I encountered was that I crashed out the moment I logged in the first time; after that, never again.

I ran into that, first time I logged in with any character it crashed after briefly flashing the initial island but after the characters folder was made it connected just fine.

That's been around since the first day I joined Illarion, at least, as far back as I can remember.

you have to remeber that I am stupid and dont undestand computers, so I Think I understood what you meant and I think I tried it but I still get hte message that WASAREUSCONNFUSED and cant seem to get rid of it. Ive cleared every last bit of the old client out, and its gone, I re-dwonloaded it twice, I closed everywindow except "Illarion.exe" and still no go.
Also my account system page is still the same as the old one. (before the wipe)
And I still have the probelm with creating old chars.

I thought I had it! I was using the old 217.64 thing, I dont remeber the number, and I was getting the old site so the client I was downloading was old, so When I went to
www.Illarion.org I downloaded the new client but it still gave me WSAECONNREFUSED. That is the exact message, I have it memorized now.

This message also appears, when the server is down. This happened yesterday some times due to changes and removing bugs.
