Ding ding ding! That is the correct bell ringing!

People annoy the piss out of me in the fact they cant possibly lose any ammount of the gold they SLAVED after selling daggers to the orc in Varshikar. Here is another good one:

----
#me swings a apple tree club at the back of the mans head in an attempt to knock him out. His strength and agility are above average

Ow! hey! What are you doing?
----

*sigh*

That is a big problem.. an Intellengent RP uses his mind...

#me digs his hand into the lizard's pocket

#me hits the hand with the tail and turns "oh sssorry"

----------

#me grabs the person by the collar

[other person] #me swings his dagger at the material of the collar

-----------

Great. They will be too much thievs in future. I hope you will also include a skill against thievs.

Hopefully when they implement thieving people will still try to roleplay it.

Although if something suddenly disappears from your bag you'll know what happened anyway.

I actually hope that people will still roleplay a thief as is, and not i.e., a Malachin paladin with thieving skills.

I tried theiving... and its real good fun.. but you must be polite

I asked the person OOC if i could rob him.. then I rped droping some ash on the floor, grabbign some coins and placing them into the ash; then picking them up.. "Oops sorry"

Now be realistic, a person in RL will notice that there is something missing after a while so i whispered that the person sitting next to the elf [sorry Marie] was lookign interested at his pocket.. therefore, suspicion falls off you...

Ok when i did it, he caught me later... but instead of getting all angry and clouding me ect... he talked to me..ect

SO please follow his example and go and RP....

There is actually about 5 ways to swindle people. I know all five and have stolen from: Sal, Liles, Pendar once, Gishmel i think(or some other dwarf smith), and plenty more, Just you have to know HOW to Do it without drawing attention to yourself, If i do it the quick hands way, i DO as before i do my RP skit. I've probably stolen good around 1000 copper worth of stuff, about 500 came from salathe alone ;)

I aspire to be a thief but I am currently stuck on the beginning island. The only NPC on the map asks if I would like to be a fighter, magician, or craftsman. Should I choose one of these fields simply to continue with the tutorial or am I missing something?

By the way, I admire the serious discussions here and about Villains (in general topics), and hope that I can contribute to this marvelous community.

stand next to the npc and say what you want to be
what you chose only changes the items you get to begin with
it changes nothing else
