Especially from people who I suspect may have written him off early and not engaged him in rp since. I only suspect this as any one who spends time in game with byron. Would have noted his rp comes on leaps and bounds, he is learning all the time and really does his best to put a good role in.
Yes he has a little to learn, but you know what this a gaming community. Perhaps I arrived able to rp well I doubt it. These days I am led to believe I approach decent. The fact is more is gained by helping byron than putting him down. If you watch him he is a lot better and I have really enjoyed some of our rp togther.
A little help goes a long way people, we have to share the game with people.So why not reach out instead of stomp down

I agree entirely with Pendar on this point.

What do you want us to do with Byron? Should we enlist a series of short-term bans because he doesn't roleplay as well as you? Would this solve the problem? If he can put up with board flames, he'll put up with short-term bans and he won't come back any the wiser.

Quite on the contrary, I've talked to Byron, and he wants to learn. He is learning. I'm learning. The day I stop learning more about roleplaying, I'll quit.

I wasn't insulting the OMGWTFBBQ. I have no qualms with signing papers saying that is your trademark. I was just using it to make a response of my own.

I just said it was an inside joke my friend made, and i dont want anyone harrasing be about i.

I have seen many fights with Byron OOC ingame. Much of this could be avoided if you walk over and whisper to him. I.E. ((Please, that is considered bad rp, it would be best to stop it)) or someone along the lines in a considerate manner. I have to say he has caught on from the first time he started playing. Even though he isn't up to par with some, he can surely get there with guidance.
