This is probably offtopic..but you know I really hate orc's. You say one thing and they shout and then kill you..that really pisses me off. Why can't there be nice orc's, or orc's that son't have huge anger managment problems. If my char was an orc I'd make it a quiet little guy who goes around selling buttons..not slicing people's guts open because they asked ''do you know where I left my pants?''

People who play orcs are the "|_337" pkers of tomorrow.
If you want to kill people ruthlessly for no reason, play an orc. Then you suddenly have a reason.
Edit: This topic is fun.

What's an orc doing when they're in town?Kaja Wolfagen wrote:Maybe we just dont like youKasume wrote:Because,Bei Tian Kensai wrote:This is probably offtopic..but you know I really hate orc's. Threatening to kill, steal, or rape you.
I've always veiwed orcs as a sorry excuse for pointless PKing. There's only, a couple.
Although I dont agree all orcs are pretty much played as PK'ers I do agree there are quite a few who seem to lest the rest down.
Some Orcs kill you for anything, and no matter what you do or say, you're still going to end up dead anyway.
I dont mind Orcs stealing though, as long as they keep a low profile and only operate out of town. And by low profile I mean that you DON'T see them in the shop two minutes later pleasuring Eliza.

Look I'm probably not the orc who's RP is great and yes orc should be watching behavior (to a certain extent) in town, but you cannot just sya "yopur an orc, out of town" theres two main problems
A. Eliza is in town, this game is more or less dependant on eliza. If you dont have access to Eliza (or sam at times) you are in a pretty tight bind.
B. The town is the game. I remeber when everyone could do stuff in the town, farm, fish, dig, smith and what not and then orcs couldn't go anywhere but town. I realize that currently there are Orc caves and other buildings but face it, the town is the game. You cant hardly find people anywhere else and RP occurs between 2 people. The more the game is spread (with different islands and such) the worse it becomes. When the player ammount remains constant (and even declining with mass numbers of farewel posts) but the map grows larger it becomes near impossible to find someoe to RP with. Beofre you'd see 2 people online BAM there next to the shop, but as more and more towns were added, and the fact that you cant get materials for any skill in town anymore, this creates a problem. The few players there are, are now scattered all around the map and when one player searches for another this player wonders around the map while the other person move and the two never meet. That is the serious problem with the game. there are other problems like powergaming and such but the biggest, and most over looked problem is a map overstrech. Theres 2 ways to fix this, make the game far more town based, or recruit tons of new players. The new players is the best option but also most difficult. If there were many more players (and more NPC's) hte hobbits could live in greenbriar, and never leave this would encourage orc raids on all the different towns, more wars, and far better RP. But finding the players to play all these characters would be near impossible. To simulate wars, and entire realistic communitys you would need 60 players on at least. 10 hobbits, 10 orcs, 10 elves, 15 humans, 10 dwarfs and 5 lizard men (not to exclude lizard men but they do not really have a society based around them yet as far as I cant tell) adn these players would have to be diveded further creating thiefs, and distibuters of nearly all goods. this would allow silverbrand and Greenbriar and Vashikar (I think thats it) to each be individuals and not so relient on trollsbane. but this is nearly impossible, so the other choice is the closest thing you can come by.

yes i agree mostly but some of it is inacurate. Like the war thing this is not jsut a game about war its about living someone elses life with yes some war but mostly ( unless you are nothign but a mercenary or jsut a warrior) the game should be about occupations and familys. thats another thing is there are not many people married that have kids there just "forners" that wander in from inland. I do agree that there are not enough players and not sure how but recrute new playes and make the server have more Ncp's and just space because i have noticed that when there are more than 15 players online the game lags really bad and its very hard because most of the time when there are more than 15 people on there is fighting going on and when it lags the next thing you know your dead because you couldnt attack the person at the right time. and i am an orc also and i dont agree that we are all Pkers because i dont play just to kill. the orc was my first charicter because i find them much eayser to RP than say the elf, dwarf, or Lizardman but you all have your own oppinions and thats cool cause hey i live in America and everyone has free will so think whatever you want i am not going to judge ya for your choices.
You can't complain about being banned from town. People have attacked town before and been banned. You are pre-warned that you are going to be banned from town and given multiple chances to change, but if it's not the roleplay of your char then it's their roleplay to ban you, to protect their town.
As someone said, 'You need to take responsibility for your roleplay'
I think what is meant that if you cant play happily being banned from town, you probably aren't happy being an outlaw.
