Just a few additions I wish to make. For one, this is an attempt to make people love, and work together again, and have fun. As for the unknown writer, without a signature, keep it nice. And Aristeaus, mention the one that won. Because I feel confused who did, Fjalara or Avaloner.
Please remember it are just riddles, not things you can be "better" at.

Here is my riddle for all of you.

I'm not really more than holes tied to more holes; I'm strong as good steel, though not as stiff as a pole. What am I?

Love in the essence,
Walking this island still,
People are mesmerized by her beauty,
and she can make them mad about people at will.

Who do I seek?

Yes it is...very well. You can do a riddle now, but in the future, only one answer per riddle sir Brendan.

Oh, I'm sorry, I suppose I missed that rule. I feel rightly embarassed now.
A riddle...a riddle...

Aha!

This thing all things devours:
Birds, beast,trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays king, ruins town,
And beats high mountain down.

Together with death, the wardrums we pound;
noisy can I be, with or without any sound.
Riddle you over land and under ground;
I may hold an answer that shall not be found.

If lives are a river, then I am the flood;
if city may be flesh, then I am the blood.
Find me throughout space, perhaps in the future;
for together with time, we can turn kingdoms to mud.

Understood am I never yet held onto by many,
I may leave any time now but not just by fall.

Felt am I by both the dumb and the clever,
trapped in between the always and never.
I tie the threads yet them am I fated to sever,
like a spinning wheel that spinneth forever.

I am everything and nothing,
it depends on your point of view.
I am everywhere and nowhere,
I am even a part of you.

What am I?

Night.

Falling softly on the ground
From heavens pillows sleeping sound.
On the ground its family lies
Till season change, standing high.

They had their fun when they fell
Now pushed aside, a plow mans’ tale.
The fight they hold, the dirt they wear
And in the ground the holes they tear.

In my hand you melt away,
With your brothers, children play.

Of all the men and angels too,
For all the forts and arrows threw,
The two best parts I concede,
Are when you come and when you leave.

I am both light and the dark;
Behind me stands my shining army;
I am the wolf's star.

I must say that this riddle is particularily devious:

With thieves I consort,
With the vilest, in short,
I'm quite at ease in depravity;
Yet all divines use me,
And savants can't lose me,
For I am the center of gravity.

What am I?
