Some interesting changes. Glad to see that the grass isn't toxic this time around. I'm already extremely fond of the the new forest tile, and I think that the new fir tree is splendid.
Two new client supported classes is a nice little touch and I'm sure that they're greatly appreciated by the skill inclined among us. The new items look more realistic and I'm glad to see that some of my favourite graphics have either been updated tastefully, or left alone.
I was shocked to see the new character graphics at first, but they've grown on me. The only qualm I have thusfar, is that some of the race graphics seem quite similar. I think the new lizard graphic is nice and the new halfling graphic finally doesn't wear an old potato sack.
A much welcomed update.
Brendan.

To the subject of character graphics.
The Elven female and Dwarven males are really off center... It gets annoying sometimes.
Fix it ASAP!!

Not bad.
Some issues, but not bad at all.
Thanks martin, Illarion team, and all the GM's who spent the last year and a half testing this client.

Sorry for writing in german.

Theres a few things i wish were left the same, but all in all i like it..
but the i still like the older "person" graphics the new ones are good, but Derinoar just doesnt look as bestly anymore, and the male dwarf and the hobbit look kind of close form the back

The human females too closly resemble the males. I love the armour and fir trees! They look wonderful! And the mummies are much more scary. My favourite part though is the roof graphics. They are perfect.

I agree with Irania.
I liked the old female graphic better.
But oh well. I'm not gonna complain.

My beef is with the highly contridicting lighting. The new graphics are lit making the sun appear from the west, old appear as if the sun was in the east. I think the new grain graphics are great. I am a little dissapointed that we cannot use custom graphics, but oh well.

Personally I preferred the old character graphics, they distinguished the males from femals alot more, but the clothing is much more fitting on the new characters. I highly dislike the new plated armor, who in their right mind would take that much time making super-rounded armor like that, not to mention its just a duplicate of the full leather armor (which has some....odd coloring). I'm just hoping my character's skills and items get restored. Hopefully I could give the economy a kick in the rear end with investing in workers.

My only "beef" is the orc guards being so strong. If they were that strong, but didnt attack us orcs, that would be great. Or maybe if they didnt attack any orcs at all. But they are too powerful now!
Also, i did like the old character graphics... The ONLY new hcaracter graphic i like is the sheep!

YES! they arent little dogs with tounges sticking out anymore!!
Oh ya, not to complain... Pigs too small, characters off center, items off center, too cartoonish...
On the Pro's side : Gems are just like they should be, I like the iron and coal, glad you didnt change too much...
I just want my grass tiles and my blood images to work!

Keep current female, bring back old male, but ditch the sword and shield, if anything.,

well.....i like all of the new tiles, except for sand and rocks(which hurt my eyes)
As for items. Chain mail is screwed up, and Capes are too
Buildings-the bricks are weird.Go to teh pickpen, it his kinda funny.
The Pigs adn Sheep are nice, adn i like teh new runes
as for smithing, i like all of the new items, but there is a problem i think. teh plain metal sheilds, teh first 3 you can make, the first looks awsome, but that makes teh second and third look horrible, yet they are supposed to be better!
i very much like the Iron ore pot ash, sand
As for teh charectors (elves, dwarves,...) i am not fond of them, though that might be more a "getting used to it" issue.
Also, everything seems...minimised. That is just idfferent, not good or bad, j ust different
Thanks for teh work,
Everything new is appritiated, liked or not

I have to say that i like all the new character graphics much better. No more characters walking around with weapons in their hands. Since this post quickly became a praise and demote new graphics thread, I just thought I would take my time to thank the gm's for all the new graphics and the new client whatnots. For me its made the game exciting again. Thank you.

o, and now everything on teh website needs to be updated-the Races section

The new Clothes seem kinda flat but the do show more detail, but the one of the things that keeps geting me is the town walls around trollsbane, the ending parts just look like big blocks...
but great work, you guys did a good job for sure!

Yes! My wildest dreams come true. There's a new client and I didn't have lag anymore (or didn't noticed yet

) Besides, the new graphics are so cool. They are lightyears better than the old ones.
@programmers: #me bows deeper than ever
Really good work!

Ahhhh! *giggles like a girl*
Ahem, anyway! I love the new human male graphic, and the full leather armour rules! The walls look better now too.
@ Arkadia, maybe try having someone who already downloaded the client you need send it to you over Instant Messenger?

Are you crazy Hermie? Instant messenger would crash with a file that big!

Anyway, I truly do like the new client. I don't think it too cartoonish. To me, it reminds me of an old game once called Dransik. That was an old game with no rp but it was still fun and easy to play. I'm loving it all So I would like to say Thank you to all the gm's for the time and effort they put into this client. The wait really did pay off!
Once again, a thousand thanks to all of you gm's. The game is progressing greatly. And don't worry you others who have problem with the graphics. It was like this with the last client that came in when Bror left, but soon you all got used to it. Remember, we are here to rp, the graphics are just an extra for fun and enhancement

Enjoy that you have them and have fun to rp with!

oh oh my turn!
Likes: I love the new ogres they looks awesome. much scary then the giant loin cloth wearing ones we used to have. the new weapons and armor is great though the human male graphic looks odd for some reason i haven't quite put my finger on yet. all else aside the new graphics look great.
Dislikes: being confused out of my mind as to which item was actually which. (lucky i took the time to figure that out) don't mind the magical misfire at all. but i was wondering if there was some reason that after i parazlyed said ogre who was about to lay waste to me in the worst way (he was close enough to reskill me at the cross) i seemed to stand there trying to run about as long as he stood paralzyed. wondering about that.
p.s.: Demons still not in the cave, will it have a new graphic to? i'm willing to risk my life a few times to see it

Oh PLEASE take away the orc guards! We will rp that we fire them or something, they are TOO STRONG!

Regarding the strength of the orcs, I think Martin might've implemented some requests in change of the combat system.
I'm not really sure though.

o! teh ogres DO look awsome!
Demon is missing
and Human female seems to be a bit...low in teh square, off center

Martins not the only one on the team you know!
and yes, considering every monster has changed fighting wise, id say i have to agree.

Anyway, the reason is another.
This will be fixed. The orcs were much weaker due to a bug which was removed.
And, BTW, you are right, I am by far not the only one who works/worked on the server and the client, there are many others.
