Levels?

Uh...
I like levels every now and then, but
If you are the high-level dude that is level 75...
What is there to do?
Actually, I DID want levels at first... but lets not go there.

I think that there should be a thingie that
You can advance in your profession:
Level 1-5 Druids, can make potions easier, faster and better as they raise profession levels.
Mages, well their spells get stronger or something.

I think, make profession levels ONLY and make it
so that skills drop only when you die and not over time.
It would help me greatly since most have my skills have
either dropped completely or real sharply.
It is hard to gather wood for my shop when it takes 10 hits per tree. (exaggeration)

So, thats my thoughts on this topic.
Please dont pass over/ignore it like some people usually do to my replies.

Anyone here ever play Tribes RPG??

The way they keep the game interesting at higher levels needs to be looked at.
First of all, I agree with the posts that say "slow down the advancement rate".
Second, maybe try something similar to the system in TribesRPG.
Here is explanation for those not familiar. When you get to a certain level, you remort or start over again in all skills. Now before you start swearing at the screen and shitting yourself...listen to the rest. You start over but with a higher hidden modifier.
I'm not saying to do it exactly that way but something similar just might work.

Damn, I'm good!!!   Too bad I'm the only one that thinks so....
