@Kalypse In relation to an alliance between our Community and that of the dwarves I think would be beneficial to both of our races. I know some of the dwarves that belong to that clan and they are honorable persons. As to an alliance with the lizardman guild I for one am neutral as I know them not at all and their ways are foreign to me. As to a military alliance...I think that if truly a great threat were upon us a military alliance could be temporarily inititiated. A long term alliance in relation to the military I think would be unwise as we elves are a peaceful race and most of us I am sure would not want to be drawn into every little squabble and battle.

Why should an alliance be builded? I don't see any needing for this kind of treaty.
Maybe a promise, to respect each other and live in peace together, is a better expression.
And to the Drow-Thing... It's hard to find a reasonable agreement - I think.
I know a Drow and he's really a nice person! Maybe we've to discuss, if a Drow is an elf or not; because this is the "elven-community".

@Elkrim I think an alliance between us and the other races would be beneficial for the Elves because it would increase trade and would allow us to accomplish things together we would not be able to do without the alliances. About Drow...if the elf you is a very good character AND he is Drow...that is highly unusual and uncharacteristic for any Drow. If he does not have a VERY good reason then that is not well.((Bad Roleplaying then)) For now it has been decided that Drow who wish to join the Community and obviously claim to be "good" as they wish to join a good Community must have very good reason and prove this to the Community as a whole before they are accepted.

It has been mentioned many times the wish for elves within this big Community to know each other better. I propose for us to start to get to know each other better here through posts in our forum. It is very difficult for us all to meet in Trollsbane, so let us start our meeting here. To get to know each other better lets start with an introduction(brief history) by every member of the Elven Community to all the other members. I would like to begin this by introducing myself.
My name is Elaralith which means in the tongue used in my homeland "Of Elara" or "Given/Dedicated to Elara". Priestess of Elara and Healer I am. For a living I tailor and as such I am a master tailor. Currently my allegiances lie in both the Elven Community and the Order of the Grey Light. I came to the land of illarion and Trollsbane many moons ago. Called by my goddess Elara I came here to fulfill her will. My goals are to spread Knowledge and Wisdom to all and to make the name of Elara known. To expose the foolishness of fighting and to Heal the hurt are other goals of mine. I am of the High Elf strain of blood of the Elven race. And I come from a family of elven nobles and am the first from my family to embrace the priesthood. I have lived for some time now in Trollsbane and it has become a home I now love because of so many good friends that reside here as well. I hope to know each and every one of you better and meet you soon!

Perhaps it is time that I express the side that is truly prominent... I am truly sorry for the loss of your Cuderlia, but I find it very offensive to slander me in such a way as to cast me out. Maybe it would be much better if the Community excluded Drow... it would lighten the hearts of many clearly fearful and resentful people... I am willing to make that sacrifice, if need be.

These current goals are making my fiance' happy, progressing to higher up in the Magic Academy, and satisfying my thirst for knowledge. I am currently associated with the Magic Academy, the Elven Community, the United Coat of Arms, and The Council. I cannot recall how long I have lived in Trollsbane.. It has been some time now. I tend to be a bit of a vigilante, trying to take on crime in Trollsbane myself. I hope that this will help others to open up to the Community..

I must say that I am astonished to see as many subjects going on together here. I am pleased to see the interaction of others from the community though. I will start with the first things first.
1. The drow matter. It seems to me like neither Kloan or Srathrate showed any real interest on joining us now that we actually need their comments on this and they have disappeared. When I first accepted them I did not know Kloan was a drow. I knew Srathrate was once, but then it seems that escaped my mind. I cannot risk my dear elves though and talking to some of the members we have decided now that we will not, by general rule, accept drows as part of the community. Cain is a half blood...and the community loves him, so it is proven that half breeds can be peaceful and wonderful elves.....but full drows have not been proven so, and in the best interest of the community, from now on all drows will be excluded from the community unless for some special circumstance that may arrise in the future that nobody can forsee until that day.
2. Dwarven request. It seems to me that the best solution is to keep it to a peaceful agreement to respect their rules and in behalf of trades and better living. Our main goal is to be in peace and not to fight. A military alliance was not really made for us, because we do not have intentions to be on a fight. As for temporary alliance, Elaralith, I dont think its such a good idea... who knows when that time would be? It would seem like a permanent one anyway. I think we should respect them as they are... because I know many worthy dwarves there, but I don't know them all. Perhaps if the situation asks for our intervention we should decide then... but the matter would have to be proven of needing our attention. If we find the dwarves in which we are able to help and we find that our help is really needed, so we will, as we do always. They also mentioned the existance of a lizard guild, but I do not really know much about them and understanding between us would be quite difficult ((mostly german people)) so this should be thought out carefully.
3. Another agreement. Today I have received news of a possibility that we may help and be helped by the Grey Rose and the Grey Light. This would basically be an alliance where we would protect the Grey Light and the Grey Rose guilds respectively in times of danger and they would do the same for us. All input is welcome and whether or not this is to be done will be decided by the community as a whole. Please post your comments and ideas in discussion.

I am also a teacher at the Magic Academy and my history can be learned easily at anytime. I will not speak of it just now or I will take too much of your time. What just a few know is that we have recently taken Moathia Nethiala, a young elf who has suffered much through her few years of existance, to be our protegee and daughter. We shall take care of her now with all the love that we can possibly find.

I would like to take this time to introduce myself, Lanthromire, to the community and especially to those who I have yet to have had the pleasure of meeting. I'm but a humble farmer and you will most likely find me watching over a freshly planted crop of cabbages near the tavern, or listening intently to a rousing conversation spoken amongst friends around a fire. I have lived for many many moons in the woods surrounding trollsbane and frequently make my way into the streets to find friends or sell my crops. I am a skilled healer as I have had countless hours of meditative study while awaiting my crops to come to grow. As I'm sure you have all heard, I was officially made the luckiest being to ever be granted with the gift of life when the wonderful Kalypse declaired her love for me, and we shall soon be wed. I pray that you will all be there for our wedding. Kalypse and I would also like to ask every memeber of the community to treat Moathia, our adopted daughter, as your own for as our love shines on her, so should yours. I have lived for more than a thousand years and because of this, sumarizing my life in a few short lines is impossible so I have given you the most recent and most important information about myself.
I'm just saying a quick Hello for now, perhaps I can talk more later, I want to meet everyone in the comunity, so if you meet me I will be more than happy to talk with you, I would like to thank my new Mother Kalypse and my new Father Lanthromire, for taking me, in and looking after me has their own, I'm still a child, and I have a long way to go before adult hood, but I have grown up fast, so please come talk to me if you find me.

Very well, My name is Moathia, I'm still a child, and have only recently ecome happy, thanks to my adopted mother and father, before then, I was an orphen, my village was destroyed, by humans, and I was the only survivor, I have been an out cast due to my hair and eye colour by the elves in southern lands, they beleve my bllond hair and green eyes are a sign of bad luck, and disaster, but now thanks to my mother and father, I have become happy, and I have decided to study under Elaralith in the helping of others by becomming a preistess, I'm also a natural tailor apprently, so I have started to make clothes, Elaralith is again my teacher in the profession, I hope to meet all the elves in the comunity, and I want to become freinds, the comunity is family, and I will do anything for my family.
