writte soemthing in the texedit like "#me is a 3 feet tall halfling" and then press strg/crtl+f2, you can save other things there aswell, e.g. something your chars says quiete often "may bragons flame shine bright for you" or some kind of spell or whatever, I think yyou can use f2-f7.

you can store text on the keys F2-F6, twice on each.

Just write the text you want in your chatbox, but don“t send it. Then press e.g. ctrl+F2 to store this text on F2. From now on when you press F2 this text will appear in your chatbox again.

you can also store it with ctrl+shift+F2, but then you have to press shift+F2 to restore it.

for those, who play in both languages:

i save the german #me with ctrl+F2-6, the english translations with ctrl+shift+F2-6.

F2 - descriptions
F4 - greeting
F3 - often used phrases of that char
F6 - specials

so i do not have to remember different settings for every char.

agility 11
constitution 13
dexterity 12
essence 6
intelligence 11
perception 13
strength 14
willpower 4

are these bad stats for a fighter?

Well, low Willpower means he wont learn that quickly

High perception will help for critical hits.

So i'd reduce perception a tiny bit, and put it into somethign more useful.

Still, he'd make a good fighter

Isn't it intelligence that affects learning rate? Willpower is a magical stat, not a learning one as far as I know

Is a hammer used to smith all objects?

Yes, but Smithing and Goldsmithing 'work' differently.

will the items in my belt determine what shows up when i use the hammer on the anvil? and do you get exp when you fail like with carpenter...uh...ing?

Posted: Thu Mar 08, 2007 8:24 am
by Skaalib Drurr
No, all things you can smith show up. But with goldsmithing you must use the copper/gold bar in order to goldsmith, not the hammer. And I don't know about the exp.

I heard nails were very easy to smith and i still don't have them. I have pins... is that it? and what is a nail board for?

Pins are nails. Ask ingame about nailboard. But I will say something to do with sibanac

okay so 125 copper ingots into plates and no level up. This means i cant get any better from copper anymore right? it is a light blue.

Posted: Sat Mar 24, 2007 7:54 am
by Kurga Wolfbane
Right.

I would make something you commonly find next to 'plates' during dinner. It helps much better.

:P

plates were the newest item i could make from copper. that means i have to move to gold items now right?

Posted: Sat Mar 24, 2007 8:40 am
by Ku 'Agor
No.

Gold is for selling, not for training.

Doing otherwise = phailing @ Goldsmithing

Make the best you can as long as you can, and then get to cutlery. What God would smith if he was a gold smith.

What do you mean by 'make the best you can for as long as you can'?

So i will still get exp from cutlery? I thought plates were my most recent item so i thought once i was done getting exp for them i couldnt get exp for anything ellse made of copper and i would have to train with gold to get better. i have already wasted 40 gold if i did this the wrong way....

Use iron?

Posted: Sat Mar 24, 2007 8:38 pm
by Wyrda
its for goldsmithing, iron is just for blacksmithing isn't it?

Posted: Sat Mar 24, 2007 9:31 pm
by Kurga Wolfbane
Not all goblets are made of Gold or copper.

Posted: Sat Mar 24, 2007 9:39 pm
by Wyrda
okay but still plates are the most recent item before it starts to make gold, so that means that only gold will give me exp now right?
