I have balanced now every monster in the mummy temple.

Would be good if i get some feedback.

To weak or to strong or fine.

Skeletons and mummies seem fine now.

They are beatable, and harder in packs.

Two days ago the panthers I think there called "big black cats" north of Varshikar seemed balanced though now they seem way to strong. I noticed armor tears faster the other day to and I think thats I nice touch.

Mummies are fine - i think,
but the skeletons could be stronger still a little bit, only a little

I think the mummies and skeletons are spot-on. :D

There is no big difference for my char between mummies and skeletons: He slaughters all of them while he used to get pwned by skeletons before the changes.

Hard to say, but maybe it would be sufficient to tweak the armor of the skeletons a bit, seems like they are sometimes without any armor at all.

Skeletons allways have armor.

I made a fresh n00b char and ran to the mummies, killed about 3 no problem, ran down to the skeleton with a warhammer and completely pwned it, its attack power is fine, but it lasted about 4 hits. maybe it should last longer?

Constitution of skeletons is a bit low. 2-5 is not much...

Also, their hit points could be raised to 10000.

a bit more constitution might help.

i just have praise in case this wasn't already said. landing critical hits and getting that blood spray effect. freakin awesome. i love that

iv done a good deal of testing and it seems that unarmed fist damage if a good deal to strong with my lizard it seems about where it needs to be seeing as how he has so much skill in wrestling. I can duel an elf with no skill in wrestling and neither of us wearing armor and Taliss losses or comes insanly close. also if taliss wears armor i see little if any recuction of the damage being thrown, pehaps there are many critical hits with them swinging so fast? im not sure.

Also when dueling a man in armor it seems like i harly could scratch him though hit him very often, armor absorbs to much of lizard damage.

i'm not sure myself. unarmed combat seems to have worked fine for my newest character, who's skills are probably still below the middle range. he's managed to fend of a few muggers(on different occasions), whom were wielding axes or swords at the time. and i assume armored. of course i wouldn't recommned it, weapons are of course overall going to be stronger, (and have alot more variety.)

btw what you wrote is a bit confusing. then again i'm easily confused.

what race is your char?

i would like to mention the flies/moskitos again.

where my newer chars before could stand undisturbed between four or five swarms, without loosing any blood,
(what was too easy)
now one single swarm makes more damage, than two or three mummies did before.

does this not open a somewhat big gap between the pigs and the flies?

I think this is just from doing a certain amount of damage, my char gets the blood on the ground nearly every hit.

Hand to Hand combat is stronger now.
Mummies were stronger than before.
Health regeneration needs to be faster.

Nitram told me each race has its own damage with unarmed i just belive the elves and maby other races using the fist are to high, i know that for sure with the elves, taliss does good damage but its expected because he has a high color in it just not any to armored people. thats what i was saying

I agree there is too much of a gap between between pigs and mummies. My char has mid green slashing and blue green dodge and parry, but even a single mummy troubles him in leather armour (whereas before he could take 3 or 4 at a time in leather).

Stephen Rothman (and his skills and stats) can not handle 4 undead wrestling undead, they do as much damage to him as wolves it seems and rarely does he parry their attacks. Too strong.

You know, Ive only seen Fooser fight once...besides a long time ago..since the server wipe. He was really mad. I think x2 Foose would be like half a Allen.

I really like mummies strength. Is there something changed with staves?

@ Taliss:the race of the character is human.

wrestling seems fine to me actually, even with this newish character he can manage fighting three or four mummies using wrestling, he has to rest afterward but he doens't die. he wears chain shirt and blue steel greaves during those times, not sure if it makes a difference but armor type might effect things differently. when it comes to that fighting unarmed enemies.

@ Gorbul

not the single droping patch of blood, but the occasion times when you hit and blood fills up the surrounding tiles (3x3) it's a cool effect.

I do not think you should make anything stronger. It makes it too hard for the noobs. I have a decent fighter. Mummies are a little tough and skeletons a little more. That is how it should be. Flies though I do feel for the noobs. You could make them do a little less damage for those ones with weak constitution otherwise they will always stay weak. Poor noobs. 8)

although double the damage would be nice  I really think the lizards need to do a bit more from armor absorbtion or atleasty the elf and perhaps others should be dramaticly lowered, i tested with a few diffrent armors and it seemed it didnt really matter what taliss was wearing the elf with not skill in wrestling was hacking away at him.

What's your constitution?
