And alot of those new players still do their best and get ignored, doesn't seem fair does it?And those times were noobs just ran around asking "How U attack?" have passed, that was simply cause they were to busy and couldn't check all the accounts. But still you seem to have kept that mentality and just crack off all the new players because of it. It truely isn't that bad anymore, most people who join these days do have a general understanding of roleplay...
And about that comment "We're a roleplaying game, not a roleplaying school." and "My time is precious, I dont want to waste it teaching noobs." Contact a GM... Easy as that and I think Nitram stated that before didn't he?
Answer is right beneath it. And as I said quite a few times, anyone can learn. Noone is born knowing everything and we wouldn't have schools if we couldn't learn.
Also, let me state once again: If you just tell them. "Go read the manual." They won't feel any reason why, and they might feel insulted. Help them with their current problem, be nice and THEN tell them that it would be wise to read the manual if they want to know anything more.
Think about how they feel, not everyone has as much understanding for those things as you.
You just keep telling me I don't understand, but as a certain ingame book says: "There are three oppinions to everything: Yours, mine and the one we both do not see."
Meaning. I look differantly toward things then you do. And the n00bs/devs/GMs/other roleplayers also see things differantly.
For instance: You see a guy(X) on the streets hitting on a girl(Y).
X may think: What a pretty girl and she's nice to.
Y would think: Ahh, he's so nice and cute.
And you might think: Slimeball, showoff, ect.
The point is, there are some things you do without realy knowing your doing it. The one that its being done to will feel a certain way about that, perhaps insulted. And one who watches can think in another way about it since he sees both of their behaviors.
