#me passes by and looks curiously at the black board, then grabs a piece of coal and starts writing on a piece of pergament.
Dear Morgaine,
I would also like to give it a try, as I like riddles, too.
Could the second be greed and the third hope ?
Greetings to all in Trollsbane.

If you look at the second and third ones they could be money and time.
2. At my whim a country crumbles, from its ruin another stumbles, kill each other at my desire, ever-expanding, a new empire. Born to me are kings and queens, sacrilege for religious schemes. Many I ruin, thousands I devour, greater are those that i empower. What am I?
If a country runs out of money it crumbles, countrys are interdependan if one falls it have negative effects on others. Wars are usually based on money or things that can be used to make money. If you lose all your money you are ruined, but if you have alot you will be empowered.
3. Since the beginning, I am the after. But I am merely the revealer of hidden truth, the teller of what is to come. What am I?
Time has always been around it always will be. As time progresses hidden truths are revealed. And it is a well known saying "Only time will tell"

@Jandro: nay my friend - you got it wrong
@Likwid Air: 2. riddle: i will give you a hint - does money itself kill? the riddle says that it destroys cities and kills people and that whole countries vanish and other empires are born... what would do such a thing?
3. riddle: since the beginning i am the after - so this sounds more like some prophecy?
and about your riddle - i still have to think hard.

What about this one:
To unlock my hidden beauty you need many keys. But before you unlock me you need to open me. I am high on my right and low on my left when you face me. What am I?

@likwid:
i thought about the meaning of keys and locks in metapher
every good book has its hidden beauty that would make one go on reading.
so when you face a book on its beginning it is low at the left because you havent read much out of it and therefore high on the right.
but i will think hard. maybe you would give me a hint for the first riddle?

I can see what you are getting at, but i am afraid that you are wrong. Think about the first statements as not metaphors but facts.
As for a clue for the first riddle:
You see this everyday, mainly in the morning, noon and dusk.
You have to get it now
P.S Check your messages.

Drizzt passes the board and sees the large number of notes. He reads through all the notes... by reading the hint from Likwid Air a smile comes about his euphemistic face. He takes a piece of pergament and a feather and starts writing:
"Harpsichord - a wonderful instrument"
He directed his view briefly up to the starlit sky. A lovely melody sounds in his thoughts...He leaves a further riddle on the rest of the paper:
"It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills.
It comes first and follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter.
Drizzt Do'Urden
Those, who call me a hero, often speak only of my combat skills and do not know anything of my principles, to which I use my swords. I accept their blindness as that, which it is."
With a smile he hangs the note over the others and disappears just as shadeful as he has come.

#me passes the board and sees the hint that Likwid Air left for her. #me reads through it and discovers Drizzt´s note. #me is happy to see Drizzt take part in this game of riddles. #me forms the magical words "it is the silence, my friend". #me smiles. #me walks away.

I got a good riddle...
What is greater than God,
More evil than the Devil,
Poor people have it,
Rich people need it,
And if you eat it you die.
Heheehe good luck

That riddle is so old, i am sick of people repeating riddles and asking ones from the hobbit, try and make up your own people.
By the way the answer is not harpsichord but a piano. So i suppose the answer is somewhat correct.
