My dear, tenderly loved Arienipoo.
I wrote the part in Italics (That's the slightly bent text.) and, as you can see, it's SIGNED, by the Great Ol' might Nitram, who wrote the rest which is in Bold (That's the text that's slightly put in relief by being thick, thick like you.) Therefore, I didn't change any of the GMs text at all, simply, a GM added some text to mine.

Yes, that is exactly what we need Korm, im glad someone is seeing things my way.
Alright.
On a more serious note: We needs tons more of outlaws and tons more of mages. Why, you ask? Becouse they give more flavour to the world. But, the outlaws are crazy enough, why would we want more? Becouse, conflict is good. Who cares if they mug a new person? Its an rpg, they should expect that they might be prayed upon, you cant exactly tell who is new and who isnt- but, why would you? Its a fewking rpg, just becouse the character is new to the world doesnt mean they should be treated at all out of character, that would ruin the point. If someone cant suck up the fact that they were killed by a bandit IG then they dont need to be here becouse they arent mature enough roleplayers to be in a place like this.
I never understood why people want others to change thier rp becouse someone is new....Thats goes against the point of having rules saying to stay in character. Just becouse a character is new to the island of gobiath doesnt mean they are new to life; remember that.
So what if your crafter is killed by someone. If your nto strong enough to handle yourself with bandits then you need to take the precautions in making sure your safe. Wether that be start training with a weapon or hiring guards.

well, so i suppose, that i have some serious thinking to do.If someone cant suck up the fact that they were killed by a bandit IG then they dont need to be here becouse they arent mature enough roleplayers to be in a place like this.
- none of the six chars, i made till now, survived the first ten hours ingame, without having been clouded.-
... and i think, that is not ok.
... and i want to spare others similar experiences.
Sir, may i call myself mature enough as a roleplayer, due to the fact, that i did not leave illa, but started to make fighter chars instead of crafter chars, Sir?
Sir, i promise, Sir, that i will powergame my chars, Sir, till they are fit enough for this harsh enviroment, Sir!
are you blind? believing, that experienced players don't see the difference between newbies and stronger chars?
you are argueing against that, what puts illarion apart from your average hack&slay game.
and if your way of thinking about this roleplay world should be representative, it might well be, that I dont need to be here becouse I arent mature enough roleplayer to be in a place like this.
what makes me wonder, is the fact that your writing stile indikates, that you should be no halfwit.

Korm, in all honesty your harsh tone about these things is getting a bit to annoying.Korm Kormsen wrote:well, so i suppose, that i have some serious thinking to do.If someone cant suck up the fact that they were killed by a bandit IG then they dont need to be here becouse they arent mature enough roleplayers to be in a place like this.

Wow...From what it sounds, he has has VERY VERY bad luck. six characters that have all been clouded within the first ten hours...He is either really screwing up and pissing people off, or he just has plain bad luck and is always in the wrong place at the wrong time....
And since im pretty sure you will read this Korm, though you may not reply, i wasn't trying to annoy you. I was merely stating my opinion

yeah, seriusly.
i think the elements idea is good.
if yo ask me, it makes thing simpler, and a bit cooler.
and even if it wasnt changed to the elements, i think that magic should be easier for everyone, i mean, is a magic user realy wanted to and spent some time on it, they could learn to use somekind of weapon, sword, staff, whatever. But for some reason, it doesnt work vice-versa, that seams a little bit like bull-**** to me...

heh, i dont know weather your agreeing or making fun, lol
oh yeah, and if we do go into elements, every one should pick theres out so they do have some types of resistances, making them good or bad with certain elements, wheather when trying to learn or getting hit from that type of magic.
also, i say that in stead of life and death magic, spirit, less conflicting with the otehrs and its what the 5 gods are:Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit.
what you would do with the spirit, im not quite sure, probaly stuff that affects the mind and, well, spirit, lol.
also, i think the idea of runes is a bit wierd, but, then again, i havnt studied them too much.
funny thing is, the 2 posts iv put in here are a mojorly shorten version that i have in my head, wchich could be useful, if it wasnt flamed to hell for being wierd, complicated, and the like, lol, who things i should type a shit load to tell you guys whats ou it?
