@The person accepting and rejecting new playerrace applications: I just want to ask, what are you guys looking for in an application? What would make it kickass enough to get it accepted?
PS:
PS:
Good Idea.Everyone knows that you won't get a character through unless you provide the proper ritualistic sacrifices to the Great GMs Rolling Eyes
I myself keep a supply of herbs, incense, candles, and dried noobs handy, just in case I need something

Really? I've insulted Keikan in the past, and he accepted my request. It wasn't kickass or anything, though I suppose it may have been better than most.
Edit: Keikan either doesn't get to know who sent the application, or simply doesn't give a flying smile. If it's a poor application, it will be rejected.

What does a application make a "good one" (at least for me)?
The more your character fits to the published informations about the race the better.
I know everyone of you tries to make thier character most unique, and thats why sometimes you give them feats that seem unlikely for thier race.
For the start and introduction of these new races I'd like to see this kept to a minimum.
I belive the discribtions are vague enough for everyone to fill them with unique and exellent roleplay without crossing the boarders of the discribtions that early.
So don't try to create that famous high lor-angurian arch mage goblin right from the start.
How to bribe me the best ?
I take everything from money, cars, boats up to small tropical islands.
Blackmailing me however will not yield the results you'd like to see.
Of course, these are my own opinions and the other people juding about the race application might see it otherwise.
This is of course no invitation to hammer us with one and the same application over and over again, just to try to find someone accepting you.
Something like this will result in having your account stripped from the rights to even apply for these races.
Everybody confused now ?

So the descriptions should be vague, eh? I'm started to wonder why my goblin was rejected with the reason, "needs more detail"Keikan Hiru wrote:What does a application make a "good one" (at least for me)?

No.
Your discribtion about how you want to play the race, and especially your character should be as detailed as possible.
I'd like to see full concepts.
The discribtions about the races, that we published (http://illarion.org/illarion/races/) are vague in my eyes. And thats good for you.

They should not be vague. He means the racial descriptions are vague enough for you to create something that is unique AND fits within borders.Gildon wrote:So the descriptions should be vague, eh? Same.WHAT?! oh damn im on my last one! AHHH nOW IMS WEATING MORE!
And to put in my two cents on the 3 try limit, it sucks ass. KThxBai.
@Peoples: Why don't you just allow us the play these races like all other races? Make it to where you can only have 1 special race character or something. I think that by being accepted into Illarion in general, you know how to frikkin' RP.

I think they actually do have potential to become normal over time, in these beginning stages they should remain this way, since no one has any experience with playing them whatsoever. Get a sort of a basis at first, sort of say.

I suppose. But if you can get articles and research on how to RP with them eh? Good point though.*highly disagreeifies*
