Oy? I was pointing out that IC behavior shouldn't be fixed with OOC actions. And that's kind of what happened.
Zeshyrr wrote:Yes it isn't fair to mess with technics only for OOC reasons, but I did not do this and I think this is a bad ?assumption? you have made. Zesh was one of the people told to guard the castle and I think it is logical for people in a foreign territory to explore and try to get the best handle on their surroundings especially in a surrounding where they could be attacked any time. Zesh was examining the gates and this was entirely IC. I think this examining is not illogical because what kind of a soldier told to guard a place does not even try to get to know the entrance he will be guarding?
You weren't a guard at the time. You were one of the invaders. It isn't my problem if the invaders don't have the equipment necessary to operate things in foreign lands.
Zeshyrr wrote:The gates were closed and I roleplayed this as an accident since Zesh is not supposed to be not too smart with machinery things. And I don't think being a keyholder is necessary for good roleplay in using the gates or how do you explain thieves and lockpickers?
It's good roleplay, logically, because the only way to open the darn things was by use of a key. A key only two characters had at the time. I thought it would've been reasonable to wait until one of the keyholders were captured, and had the key extorted from them. Were you so short of time that you had to enter and see the entirety of the castle in one day?

Actually, my character was captured this morning. The key could've been taken from him at that point. He resisted, but it was still quite possible (though for various OOC reasons it was kept I suppose).

I think the gates...NOT doors that thieves and lockpickers can enter...are locked once they close, though anybody can close it. Kind of like a large safe.
Zeshyrr wrote:Yes Zesh doesn't hold a key but he only closed the gates and this does not require a key as you mentioned. The role playing aspect is the only reason I play the game and I already explained my logic in this so I hope it is enough for you.

Any ways I think this kind of posting isn't right because it is like slandering when some assumptions are made without all the facts. Next time if you have a questioning on some roleplay of another player maybe it would be better if you privately message first? Thank you
No argument ever ended with "Oh my god, you were SO right and I was So wrong, I'll change my opinion right away!" I think it's necessary to have the arguments seen by players involved and the openminded for a nonbiased judgement.

It's not meant to be slander. If somebody questions my roleplaying, I'll be glad to argue back and see what others think.

But the ultimate fact is, it's history now. We're not trying to figure out 'who dunnits' anymore because both fighting sides screwed up at some point during the event. But it's no big deal, because everything is going the way it should be in a roleplaying world now.

No I was appointed as guard at the time by Hagen. When Zesh arrived at the scene the invading was already over.

I know you didn't mean to slander me so I wasn't offended. But maybe you like to argue with others but everyone is different and I don't like this arguing. I would much rather be roleplaying instead. :)
