Personally, it doesn't matter which is used American or British.

Both are "Internationally" recognized as the "English Language". Isn't that the point of this thread?
A. That's why I said "they", not "you".
B. No, this is a thread saying how Americanisms should be smitten from Gobaith as a matter of principle :P .

People were always very friendly. Despite the youth. When parts of my group were stupid enough to talk German, they were molested and called "Nazis", someone threw raw eggs on them.

After that, we told everyone we were from Russia. THEY BELIEVED US!

How ignorant do you have to be, and how intolerant??????
And, to tell you something, I still like England... But this Germany-hatred of some is a really big problem. Especially as they do not know anything about us that happened after 1945. Some told me in England that they are proud of their democracy and that we should feel ashamed for still having a dictator.
FOR HEAVENS SAKE, we ARE a democracy!!! and WE don't have a queen... whilst others...

yeah there is a thing called stupid people and they are in every single country. I love it when other people from where ever the smile they are from try to say everyone from the US is dumb. I Just if we are so stupid you guys must be dumber for letting our nation become a superpower.

I use this mainly on the middle easterners who think their backwards wartorn get shot for nothing country is better than ours.

Surely in medieval periods, they'd use the English spellings?

Uh oh, Americanism. That just reminded me of a Song by Rammstein: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=4w9EksAo5hY

Guess Rammstein missed a point in their song, alas!

Anyaway, all you US Players out there, do not take that song too serious, it is not dedicated to you.
