what you are asking the teachers to do, is to strengthen you againced their own power. It pretty looks like you are going to attend a crime againced a mage and need to learn how to last the might of one, before that. I don't have the right to speak for the magic teachers or the other students, but I myself, would captivate you and try to find out what your plans are, if you would ask me to help you with that "magical protection" training.

Da ihr mir sagtet, dass die Aufnahmefist vorbei ist, wollte ich euch, ehrwürdige magier, fragen, ob ihr mi den kein Lehrbuch der uralten Sprache geben könntet, sozusagen zum Selbststudium.

Bis dahin verfeinere meine Fähigkeit in Sachen Kräuterkunde im Garten.

Da ihr offenbar sehr interresiert an Kräutern zu sein scheint, denke ich, dass der Pfad des Druiden wohl eher für euch geeignet sein würde. Falls ihr euch näher darüber informieren wollt, solltet ihr euch bei den Druiden des Waldes oder bei Lennier melden.

1. Warum solltet ihr, dann Magie erlernen? Um sie nicht zu nutzten? Dann könnt ihr genau so gut es lassen.

2. Wenn ihr micht Macht die magischen Künste meint und mit nutzten, die Anwendung eben jener Künste, so seid versichert, dass die großen Magie diese Isnel, ihre Künste anwenden, sei es nun aus reiner Freude an bunten Funken oder aber um Leben zu retten, jedenfalls tun sie es.

3. Wenn nur der mächtig ist, der seine Macht nicht verwendet, so ist doch der, der diese Macht hat, genau so mächtig wie einer, der sie nicht hat, da der, der sie hat sie nicht anwendet und der der sie nicht hat, garnicht anwenden kann, somit ist es im Endeffekt bei beidenen das selbe: Sie wenden die macht nicht an.

Natürlich, wegen gesitiger Erkenntnis und DIngen wie diese, könntet ihr sagen, dass ihr die Magie erlernen wollt. Und das mag wohl sein, aber man kann sie auch ohne das STudium der Magie erreichen und desweitern, wollt ihr mir sagen, dass wenn ihr angegriffen werdet, ihr euch nicht mit der Magie verteidigen würdet?

Somit ist euer Aussage total sinnlos formuliert oder ihr lügt mit eurer Aussage, die Macht, die mit der Magie einem verliehen wird, würdet ihr nicht nutzten.

Werte Mareda am besten erfahrt ihr dieses wenn ihr einen der verbliebenen Lehrer fragt da nur sie einen ungefähre abschätzung geben können wann sie mit der Ausbildung eines Schülers fertig sind.

Zu euch Kenneth Ladrus fragt doch einfach Duchan ob er euch nehmen würde oder kann und am besten auch gleich wenn er euch nehmen würde aber nicht kann wann er es denn kann.
Mit der "Macht" die euch durch die arkane Kunst zuteil wird könnt ihr vieles bewirken.

Unfortunately, there are only a few willing to teach the arcanes to pupils, and most, if not all the available teachers are already busied with their students. I fear it will be hard for you to find one any time soon. Yet do not let that discourage you, for seed is on the path of the rat's seeker.

I would like to point out that you asked for an apprenticeship all I asked was to join the Magic Academy, there is a difference. you can be someone's apprentice without being in the magic academy.

If you bothered to read the original parchment, you'd notice that there is no "Academy" anymore. The building is still there but there are no lessons. There are only apprenticeships, so try reading yourself before placing allegations on others.

I am Saeliah Scorpius, and I would like to request an apprenticeship.
Even if all the teachers are currently otherwise occupied, I would still like to make my ardent and sincere wish to learn the art of magic known.
If it isn't too much to ask, I would appreciate a dove (or whatever animal you've trained for similar service ) as to whether an apprenticeship can be arranged in the near future or if I should try to put my name on a waiting list of some kind...

I like countless others write upon these walls in request of being taught the arcane arts only by such wise teachers as those that walk this island. I have recently arrived to this Island of Gobaith with the honor filled task of obtaining knowledge of the magical ways and further passing on these highly sought after practices to my people. With high hopes and a humble heart I ask that when a position becomes available that I on behalf of my people have the opportunity to learn the ways of one of you arcane teacher’s exuberating endeavors. I understand that the river I am setting my self up to swim is a rapid and at times consuming one that many fail to cross, though with all my heart and cultural passion residing in me I write that I am willing to wait so that I may learn from the best this Isle of Gobaith has to offer.
