What about brewing, I found out you need grain to ferment, and I hold it in my belt, I have a bottle to collect it, so why when I click on the barrel to ferment the grain does it say I dont have the required rescources, what am I forgetting?

in german we call it "Hopfen" perhaps that'll help you out.

Step 4. Take bottle in hands and pour into mug.

I thought you'd simply look the word up in a dictionary and find out it's hop, as Ziel mentioned above this post.

Heres a hint: Smiths can make something named "Metal Pieces" maybe that work.

ok, so has any one figured out the point of staff handles yet? I made enough to finally get carpentry to show up on my skills list, and can make the staff that is a blank box on the last menu for it (don't know if this is a bug or not, made 3, then next 2 failed.) Just curious...

Ok.. staffs are a tad more complex...

Staff handles were useless.. however no-one is sure if they are used to make halberds and throwing spears ect...

Otherwise get a plane and make plates which you can sell

I was wondering at first if i was failing the staves because i bagged my handles, but assumed after i'd get the resources missing message if that was the case.

I somehow fail to regain tomato or carrot seeds from the grown vegetables. If I leave them lyieing around to sprout... they'll rot.

Is there some trick behind it? Do I have to talk to them so they sprout? Or is it no use because it isn't working?

I don't know about tomatos but carrots have to be left in the ground to seed. Don't pick the ones you want to turn to seed.

Tomatoes have no seeds. And i believe it is no bug.

Maybe we should think ingame, that at our isle is not the right climate to get seeds for them. Maybe the intent is to have an item, which has to be bought everytime again, to get out some money. Thus tomatoes are luxury.

I've been trying really hard to make fish fillets and sausage meals but i'm having alot of trouble. Could someone please give me a hint?

Sausage meals require two foods cooked by a cook (guess sausage MIGHT be one of them ) , and a plate. Fish requires a fish, and another prepared food.

No, all races should drop insides. And therefor diffrent types of sausages could be made. I'd imagine an orc eating a hotdog made out of someone he hated. Wouldent you?

Well... as long as your character doesn't ask WHAT the sausage is made from, he'll most likely eat it anyway...

Trust me, it's the same in RL, until you do find out what you're eating...

I am really curious.. Could someone help me out with the throwing spears? I have tried several of the two boards, both together, along with a branch.. A big handle, staff handles.. But nothing seems to work. Could someone help me in the make of throwing spears? >_>
