It was planned to install an automatical answer as a first reaction after you sent us your request. But it does not work yet.
Today, the first message is the one that gives you a quest to write. The second one tells you, if your request has been accepted. That's all.
If your char's name does not fit with the name rules your request is deleted without any answer.
We work through about 30-50 mails every day, and we expect you to read, understand and follow the name rules as a minimum sign of respect.
Everyone who works at the account system decides alone and final about the request he is working through. If this person is not quite sure about how to react in your case he puts your answer back to the stack, so another staff member might decide.
We normally do not tell anybody who was the person behind a decision and we do not discuss our decisions at all with you.
If we decide to accept the request, your mail is put on another stack for we do not open the database for every single request. About one or two times a week this stack is send to another member, the keyholder for activations. Your account will be activated within two days, if nothing comes between. (There is only one keyholder, and this one might get ill, go to holidays or simply be busy)
Hope this answer can help a little bit and prevent from similiar questions.
I please everyone who reads this not to start any discussion about how this system might be optimized. If we feel there is a need and a possibility to optimize anything we will do (far as there is not something else more important to do
).

I'm sorry. Putting Nazi behind something is (semi-)common American slang, which I like to play with from time to time. It has become all but synonemous with 'Narc' (or 'Nark') which is again slang for an officer who searches for narcotics or a general person who buts into others buisness, rats them out etc.
I relise that cynically using American slang on a German board is dumb. That's just the kind of person I am, though. Sorry. It wasn't meant with any hostile intent. I was reminded of the phrase because my Chemistry teacher used it a few days ago (with regards to spelling or something).
I guess that my own explanation is my own ignorance.
[Edit] To support my point, I did a search on yahoo:
http://search.yahoo.com/search?va=%22Se ... fl=0&x=wrb It simply shows that the term 'server Nazi' is common in the internet community.
May the wind be always at your back,
-Pyron

Even if the President of the United States uses it, i feel uncomfortable. (Although I should feel more uncomfortable if Mr. Rumsfeld would...)
Using tough slang on these boards means to expel others. I would prefer young players develope elven slang or orcish crack-jaw ingame than force me to post here about the thoughtless stupid use of language.

hmm, there is one thing im worrie dbaout in illarion, and thats hte use of the word lol. i understand our charakters dont really know what lol means, but surely it simply an expression, or an abreviation, as it just makes me feel stupid if i say hahahaha. i tend to use lol alot as a humble understandment of the humor rather that a big loud hahaha.
i spose ill get used to it. id like to know if there are alternatives though.
